Great retrospective. I'm so glad y'all did this. Just as much, thank you for having Ken Jones back. I miss him on The Whitehorse Inn.

As a Christian struggling with myself I will never forget his tape message “The Gospel is for Christians Too” that I listened to in some very painful moments of my walk. Though tears of sadness I am able to know that we will all be together again and know even as we are known.

I was a Nazarene pastor when I first heard Rod. It was like I was born again, again! I am so grateful our Lord brought the Gospel to me through Dr. Rosenbladt. Thank you for sharing this.

Thank you for this conversation honoring our dear Rod. I became a Lutheran and eventually a Lutheran pastor because of Rod. Well done and much appreciated.

Having seen the Luther coats of arms in RC's church, on the Cradles of Christianity cruise conference, I asked him why he was not Lutheran, since he obviously liked Luther. Nice to hear and see Ken Jones again.

I was at the “What Still Divides Us?” Debate in 1995 and met Dad Rod. At the advice of Kim Riddlebarger I went to Westminster Seminary the following year. In those days there was NO internet and nothing Reformed on the radio in the SF Bay Area. So, I mailed blank cassette tapes to a friend in the Los Angeles area who would record the White Horse Inn from the radio for me and then mail the tapes back to me. Now, decades later, Ligonier ministries has videos streaming 24/7 on RU-vid you can watch for free. People don't know how good they've got it these days. Of course, there is a lot of skubala on the internet as well.

I only recently started listening to White Horse Inn, first time I heard about Rosenblat was a month or two ago from Roseborough, one of his students at Concordia. My condolences to you as his friends, and hope to get some rehashed content from this man in the future.

There will never be a voice like his in this world again. And that voice brought me and my son into the White Horse Inn Posse back in the day as it did scores of others. It was a race well run. Rest in Peace my brother.

His sermon on the sad crowd and the mad crowd - the “Broken sermon”-was liberating because it pointed to Christ alone as savior… He has left a legacy for us.

I came out of the prosperity gospel into reformed theology in 2020. Listening to old WHI recordings played a huge role in this. I am forever grateful for Rod. I look forward to embracing him one day in glory and thanking him. 🙏🏻

Remembering how I used to sit at my computer Sunday nights listening to the White Horse Inn. That was my Seminary training, learned so much about the reformed faith. Love those Brothers✝️

What a blessing to see you all together honoring a beloved brother Dr. Rosenbladt. WHI was so important in my theological development and seeing your relationship with Dr. Rosenbladt really helped me connect with a couple of LCMS coworkers. What an example of the unity Jesus prayed for in John 17. Love you all.

Learned so much from Dad Rod listening to the WHI in the old days in the 90s and early 2000s. So thankful for his gospel clarity.

I wish I had a father like Mr. Rosenbladt. I wish I had close friends like you all are/were at WHInn. RC Sproul led me to Christ. Mr. Horton kept me from falling into the weird extremes among Presbyterianism and led me to the Heidelberg catechism. Rod brought me to Lutheranism through his lectures on Chemnitz and the two nature's of Christ and his talk on the gospel for those broken by the church. Thank you for this tribute to Rod. I feel a little closer now to one of my heroes in the faith.

It was roughly 1998 in a prison cell in South Texas that I first became aware of the White Horse Inn scanning through my little radio looking for some hope. I looked forward to it from then on. What a blessing it has been to me. So sad to hear of Rod's passing, yet an occasion to rejoice for a life well lived in Christ.

He was such a blessing. He taught a Wednesday night Bible that I attended for years. We used to talk about our fathers and shared quite a bit. We both knew the exact date that they died. It was really moving to know him. We also smoked cigarettes together in the parking lot and talked theology. I can never say enough about Rod. I remember one funny moment when he told me about Tammy Faye Baker’s dog lost his salvation. LOL 😂 God blessed me for knowing him.

Thanks, guys! I'm sure that was difficult. Just like to share that he is the biggest reason I am a Lutheran, after 2 years of listening to the round table of White Horse Inn. ☮️

Back in the 1990s I came across White Horse Inn. Those broadcasts are absolute classics.

My four spiritual fathers pointing to Jesus Christ! Love you all and I'm so thankful Christ used "Dad" Rod to bring me to comfort in the LCMS. I can't wait to have a draft with all of you in after the resurrection!

This is wonderful. TWHI rescued the Gospel for me decades ago on Sunday nights as I drove home from work, and Rod Rosenbladt’s humaneness was key to that rescue. The four of you cleared away the nonsense and got to the radical Gospel. Thank you all, and bless Rod Rosenbladt.

I did not know Rod was dead. my heart goes out to those who remain and Eternal Memory to him !Ignore my name when it comes to preconceptions you might have, I was his student at Concordia Irvine when it was still called Christ College Irvine, His lectures were outstanding on Grace--Unmerited Favour.

In a blessed falling asleep, grant, O Lord, eternal rest unto Thy departed servant Rod Rosenbladt and make his memory to be eternal! Memory eternal! Memory eternal! Memory eternal!

I remember so many Rodisms. One I use a lot is. “I look down on people who look down on people”. 😂 I especially love his message about those broken by the church. And one story he told about a biker who attended one of his classes and how he shared the gospel with this Biker and how he showed his gentle heart to share the gospel with him.

Great tribute. Always enjoyed Rod on the show. His commanding voice was a plus. The WHI was very important, nay vital, in getting me to the R&P side. Will we not have eternity to meet every fellow believer? And in perfect fellowship no less.
