You come across people like Robin Williams and think life with them, for friends and family must be fun, until you realise Robin Williams committed suicide. How life treats you, is so different.
@@welingkartr416 He had a type of dementia that was misdiagnosed as parkinsons disease. He was losing his ability to control his emotions and to think properly, he wasn't being given the correct treatment for the illness that he had. It was very unfortunate, people were told it was depression, but it was actually a neurological problem, his brain could no longer function properly. Im sure Robin was a complex person like we all are, but from what I have heard online from his family and friends, he was a lot fo fun to be around.
I can’t believe it’s been 10 years. I remember hearing the news early in the morning and before that, I had a feeling something was wrong. Anyway, you’re a genius and an inspiration to all of us.
Same here I was on a cruise ship at the time and saw it on the news in my cabin and was in shock we really did lose a fantastic actor he was my childhood and I still miss him to this day RIP Robin Williams
Of all the celebrities losses we had in those past decades, Robin is the one I miss the most. He was a true light to the world and it pains me so much to know he left in so much pain.
I miss Robin Williams so much. I had the pleasure & honor to see him live, in concert, the year before he passed. He was talking about having to take Viagra due to a heart valve replacement. When he got to the side effects, he said, "You have to go to the ER for an erection that lasts more than 4 hours," I blurted out, "You think?" Not more than 5 minutes later he said, "And I know all of you Women in the audience are saying to yourselves, "You Think." I had no idea that he heard what I had said. I'm so glad it was dark in the theater because I turned beat red, tears rolling down my face, & with me sliding down in my seat trying to hide. When I told my friends about what happened, they all told me, "Well, apparently Robin Williams thought your comment was funny. We wouldn't be surprised if he added it into his show." RIP- Dear Sir. You were a versatile person: acting, comedy, singing, etc. What couldn't you do & do well? You are sorely missed by all of us.
I will never forget when he passed. I cried like I lost a family member. Robin Williams had a way of truly connecting with his audience. The world was a better place with him.
I agree I was at work driving a semi truck and was bawling when I heard I was a 42 year old man bawling while driving a semi I can watch him all day 4th grade picture I wore a Mork shirt
The thing I enjoyed most about this video is that Robin was having a blast. His laughter was genuine and he really seemed to be enjoying the show. The Graham Norton Show was a perfect fit for Robin Williams. I had a smile from start to finish.
Robin Williams: if anyone asks me who is a genius, I refer him/her to anything featuring Robin Williams. So sad that he gave up on life, but so wonderful that we can see his genius at work in the comedic legacy he has left us!
Hope you won’t mind if I share? 🥹 Mr. Williams never gave up, he had DLB (Dementia with Lewy Bodies) and either acted out his REM sleep dreams, or a hallucination/psychotic episode prompted the behaviour that unalived him. His wife fought for years for proof. So unfair. Miss him terribly. 💔
He didnt give up on life. He had his disease for years and years of being tortured he didn't want his family to suffer and he didn't want to suffer ..what's sad is he went undiagnosed but its very difficult to diagnose definitively but he should have been diagnosed a lot sooner. His brain was literally being eaten alive inside. I dont think thats giving up on life. That's giving up on pain and suffering when it can't be cured the only options are death or suffer to death. Most people who are sane would not choose torture and then death but just straight up death while he had the ability to get out he did. He could still be here trapped in his own body suffering and his family watching him suffer. I think anyone would do the same.
The absolute greatest at improv, comedy, voices, facial expressions, accents, impressions and acting. The world is a much sadder and unhappy place without this beautiful human being. Simply tragic.
What a legend, never forget him, loved every movie Robin was in & loved the many great story about Robin since then like Ethan Hawke becoming an actor because of Robin & Robin paying for Jessica Chastain’s Scholarship to Juilliard. Will Miss Robin Williams, R.I.P.
Robin’s passing hit me harder than any other celebrity death. To this day it still feels like I lost a family member. I highly recommend the documentary ‘Robin Williams: Come Inside My Mind’. It made me laugh like a child, and weep like a baby. If you love Robin you simply must watch it.
Some people are just born funny, and Robin was one of the best. Still, my favourite memory of him was as Mr Keating in Dead Poet's Society, instilling a passion for language and art into students conditioned to conform. Truly his magnum opus.
It was a sad and dark day for me when you left us Robin. But I understand why you had to go. I pray that the great beyond is everything you need it to be 🙏
I still mourn him. He was such a big part of my childhood in the 80s and then a constant in my adulthood. What a gift we were given to have him for the time we did.
God I miss this man! I grieved more for him than I did for certain family members! (And George Michael - 2 of my all time heros). His film 'what dreams may come' was life changing for me - Watched him back in hi sMork and Mindy days and was blown away by him - So missed.
Yes What Dreams May Come….. I saw it in the theater & balled & remember thinking this is what you watch when you lose someone who means a lot to make you feel better. I have it on VHS (still) & yet I have only seen it the one time in the theater. I just haven’t had the guts to feel that movie again. 😢
I recently decided to rewatch Robin Williams movies starting with Goodwell hunting. The heartwarming emotions, genuine smiles and the tears . He embraces his characters so strongly and delivers from his heart. No one will ever compare to him. may You RIP wherever you are. never forgotten. Thank you for giving us the best performances.
♾️If anyone should be IMMORTAL it is ROBIN WILLIAMS And BETTY WHITE. ❤Two great people who brought so much joy and laughter to life. 🙏RIP✨ We miss you❣️
Out of all the celeb deaths, his one affected me the most. I grew up watching all his films, and they all made me laugh and sometimes cry. Everybody loved him too. Rip Robin Williams.
I was 17 wainting for friends to come to my house when i heard the news. I couldn't pretend i was okay. He was a big part of my childhood. It's amazing how Robin made so many people happy when they watched him. Can't believe he's gone. I hope he knew how loved he was. Thank you for the video. Gretting from Argentina
What a guy! I repeat what a guy and magnificent actor. All the different voices that came out of his mouth! Robin Williams, you will never ever be forgotten for the joy and laughter you brought to the millions of your fans all around the world. It is sad you us laugh but you yourself didn't have any laughter during your last struggling days. You are missed every single day. R.I.P. I just watched Bicentennial man again for the 15th time and you were larger than life in that movie just to name one. As I watch you now on 8/8/2024, I am crying for what we lost. I can't type anymore.
He was, the best. Sorely, he is Missed. Robin, of the Williams, with him, we were blessed. With his comedy, his insight. His ever glowing light. His antics would scare away our fright. The Laughter, The Applause His energy would never pause. We stared in awe, we'd laugh so loud. His acting, his comedy, his character, so proud. The joy he'd bring. The laurels we'd sing. To HIM! The one. We owe it all. Rest well sweet Robin. We bid, to you, a sad, Farewell.
Robin Williams was the greatest funniest man in the world doesn't matter if he's on a talk show he's hilarious you never know what he's going to say or do I can watch Robin Williams all night long rest in peace Robin the world could really use you right now😢😢❤❤❤❤❤❤
There will never be another like him. So funny, and such a great serious actor. Truly a gift from God .... Look at his body of work over time, it is very impressive ....
One of the greatest joy in the world to be so sad and hurt inside... that is the truest definition of a Greek tragedy... if there is an afterlife hope you are cracking up the ones up there.....
He filled my childhood with laughter and joy. Hook will forever be one of my comfort movies. I miss this man and just wish he knew how many of us he truly helped survive
I honestly still miss Mr Williams.. every.. day. His light was a big part of my childhood and it feels as if we lost the best Uncle, the coolest neighbor, the most fantastic friend. RIP sir 🥺
I remember the moment I heard the news that Robin was gone. I cried like I lost a true friend. In a lot of ways, his work embodied my childhood. I give him and Conan credit for my sense of humor. Idk why but he reminds me of my dad and family, or versions of them that I wished I had more of in real life. He will be missed forever!
I still miss not seeing Robin Williams in new films. He was so funny and came across as a nice guy. He was fantastic at improvising and just came out with line after line of great material! ❤
