I been rewatching The Simpsons recently, I forgot how the funny show was. It's amazing how the older seasons hold up to this day.

The 2007 game is one of the last actually great pieces of Simpsons media. It is super funny, and I recommend it. Even if you're not gonna make a video on it.

Simpsons arcade was so nostalgic I remember playing it with my cousin at Chuck e cheese back in 2001 everytime it was his or my birthday, we never finished the dream level because it was hard, Simpsons hit and run was fun because I thought it was the closest family friendly thing to a gta clone without the violence but it was fun

I love Hit and Run, even though my dad didn’t want me to play it when I was little. I haven’t played Arcade or Road Rage, but I vaguely remember the Simpson’s Arcade being at the indoor sports complex I played soccer at when I was five. I’d always sneak away from the game to watch the bigger kids play it!

As someone who was born in 2001 it’s kind of crazy to me that I never realized that the simpsons arcade game was made in the 90s. My experience with the game was from the mid 2000s when I would go to my brothers hockey games where there was often an arcade section inside the arena. I remember distinctly one arena having the cabinet and playing it. Seeing as I was around 6-8 at the time I sucked ass at the game and couldn’t get past the first level. All the same, even at the decline of the arcade trend in the US I still find having experiences similar to people of the past generation somewhat amazing to me.

We had a free-play arcade in our town for a while. Pay a single fee and play as much as you want to. They had X-Men, Turtles in Time, and Simpsons Arcade. I hope those machines survived.

Hit & Run was definitely the best of the Simpsons games. I’ve actually only played road rage and H&R, but from what I can tell, it definitely was the best of all the games. It holds a very special place in my heart as I’ve beaten it so many times I can’t even count. I had it on GameCube and it was so much fun. I actually wish I could find my old copy. I may need to just see if I can find another copy to play it again

Was born in the late 90's and still saw the arcade games here in Australia. The first arcade game I played and it was awesome that me, Mum, Dad, and sister could play together. Was excited when Road Rage and Hit and Run came out, just going around Springfield was mind blowing

There is one or two of the newer episodes I'd say are worth a watch. Specifically the LEGO, Futurama, and Family Guy ones. The last few seasons have picked up bad habits from Family Guy by incorporating cutaway gags, which wouldn't be the worst thing in the world if the timing between jokes didn't drag on too long.

you dropped the Sports Plus reference but do you remember Bret Saberhagen's? Sports Plus was pretty wild, I remember one time we had a school sleepover at sports plus?!?! except there wasnt any sleeping, it was just a bunch of 8th graders playing games at 3am??? sports plus had a pretty wild like physical punching game with 6 individual targets that would pop out at you and a bunch of different boss fights thanks for triggering some nostalgia fellow long islander!

I'd forgotten about Crazy Taxi. Never played the other two Simpson games, but Hit and Run was a favorite for a very long time. Think I managede to get all the collectables. Was a long time ago. The best Simpsons game for me though, was Krusty's Fun House on the origional Gameboy. Absoloutly loved that game!! Cheers, Fuzzy. See you on the next one.👍

Road rage was the first game I played when I got my ps2. I never had hit and run. What I remember most is playing the Simpsons game. That game was amazing. And I replayed it when I got my psp last year.

The Simpsons arcade game could just be one long fever dream, what with Smithers being the bad guy. I remember playing it way back when, one time at Butlins I got back from playing it and sat down in a cafeteria, mom and sister went into the toilets and got locked in there for ages. That is how I remember the game. I like Road Rage. The thing about Crazy Taxi, at least the one with the Crazy Hop in it, SEGA ripped that from another taxi driving game from the 1980's called simply, Taxi Driver. They stole the jumping cab idea....OK maybe they didn't steal it, maybe they didn't know.....but I find it funny that two taxi series have jumping taxis. Hit and Run is more like Driver 2, compared to any other game it's just a newer Driver 2 with some extra platforming. Now I like that style of gameplay, lots of car combat but my God, I hate the map design.

Road Rage on the GBA was one of the first video games I ever played when I was 5 and it still holds a special place in my heart. The visuals and soundtrack in particular make me feel super nostalgic. Aside from that, I also played the hell out of the 2007 Simpsons game on the ps2. Maybe it’s because I’m a zoomer that was born in the 2000’s but The Simpsons was always more significant to me as a video game franchise than as a show. I grew up loving the games but I couldn’t tell you anything about the first 15 seasons of the show lmao

My favourite behind the scenes detail of any video game is likely Hit and Run. They were concerned Matt Groening wouldn't approve of the game as it allows violence against Simpson characters. When they gave him a beta copy of the game the first thing he did was kick Marge and laugh hysterically at the animation of her flailing on the ground. Something pretty much unchanged in the final game.

I play Simpsons Road Rage on the Game Boy Advance because that's all I had at the time and I actually found that to be a technological marvel.

Me and my sister used to play the Simpsons Arcade game whenever we saw it. Fun memories. That & Guitar Hero ate up alot of our money. Worth it.

I want to mention that Hit & Run is based on Driver! Most of the mission types and the drifty handling are very directly based on Driver and Driver 2. Driver 2 is a great game if you like Hit & Run!

People that say hit and run is a gta clone haven't played driver. Cause the game feels more like a driver clone. Missions based on driving, on foot gameplay not having much to it and bad on foot gameplay

Bruh I hated Road Rage growing up, to unlock the ending you have to get a million dollars and it literally takes like 17hrs or some shit 💀 still think the worst game is either Wrestling or Skateboarding tho, God...
