Hi everyone!
I hope you enjoyed this video about me going to the candle supply store, how I make and package my wax melts and how I test wicks in my jars! I think I am FINALLY happy with the way my candles are burning, and that means that I am one step closer to opening my Etsy shop. :)

hello Memory Box Candle Co How are you? what kind of wax the best wax for making wax melts with the molds or making wax melts? so you can make wax melts with soy wax? and can you use use food like 100 sprankles? and can you put real glitters too? and what kind of glitter to use too? and what kind of glitter do you use if you do make wax melts in the molds?

how do you determine how much wax you need for wax melts/tarts? I want to try making waffle wax melts/tarts but not sure how much wax and fragrance oil to use for them and can't find any really good tutorials explaining

Does the website where you purchase the molds tell you a fill weight? If not, you can put the empty waffle mold on a scale, tare it, then fill it with wax to see how much it holds! I love this, I'm starting my own candle business, I have tested the golden brand 464 soy wax from candle science but after I lit the candle I got a lot of hole in the wax and the wax burned. Whay wax do you recommend? Thank you

Hi, congrats on your candle business :) A lot of people who use 464 have that same issue, but I’ve heard that once you get it right it can be a great wax! Besides 464 I’ve heard C3 is really nice. I use soy #10 and absolutely love it, the only issue with that is there is only 1 supplier :/ But I would recommend if you aren’t happy with 464, watch a few videos to try to fix the problem (I’ve heard heat guns can help with sink holes). But don’t feel like you’re stuck with 464, you can definitely move on to another wax!

Hi Gisselle! Thank you :) I am still reselling on the side to help fund the costs for my candle business, I just decided to make my channel more candle-focused. And all I'm using is imovie on my iphone right now, I decided to play around and have more fun editing in this video :)

I started out just playing around making candles, and then some of my co-workers suggested I make melts as well. So I jumped on that pretty early on, I think I started making melts back in November or December :)

Wanted a 10 lb slab of that #10 soy wax badly but starting from scratch with supplies. Just couldn't afford the shipping to NYC. But next time, another story.... LOL

research, when you buy the wick look a summary on that website they should tell you. but you gotta do a test candle from each batch. I started with two. You can reuse the jars.
