We are with Mark Wiens in Gilan province and we continued our trip to the city of Fuman, which has very famous and delicious Kolooches. Then we went to the village of Masuleh, a spectacular area with an exceptional architectural style that fascinates every viewer as soon as they enter the village. A very green area surrounded by beautiful mountains. In one of the local's home they made us Zeytoon Parvarde (marinated olives) . Zeytoon Parvarde (marinated olives) is one of the side dishes and appetizers that belongs to this region and is very popular among the people of, Gilan and in general Iran. The olives are well mixed with walnut kernels, pomegranate paste, garlic and local aromatic herbs. A very tasty combination that Mark really liked. In one of the cafes We ate Dizi, a popular Iranian food made from lamb and chickpeas, which is unbelievably flavorful. Then we tasted unique local dishes such as Mirza Ghasemi, which is made from a combination of grilled eggplant, garlic, tomatoes and eggs, or the famous white fish, which is local to the northern region of Iran, and is stuffed with fragrant herbs, which was absolutely mouth-watering.
