Had Tamim Iqbal played for England, he would have ended his career as one of the greatest batsmen of all time. You can see the majestic flair with which he played each and every stroke. In Bangladesh the pitches are mainly spin-friendly and have a little for the batsmen, the outfield and pitch both are slow. If you know Bangladesh cricket, you would know how Tamim Iqbal changed his way of playing as time passed. He compromised with his batting style for the team, for he had a lot of responsibility to stay at the crease where there’s almost nothing for a batsman like him. Despite all these, Tamim has been of of the best batsmen in the world for last four or five years, and the stats will speak for him. Anyway, he may not be one of the greats like Sachin, Ponting, but he is the greatest batsman Bangladesh has ever seen. And it takes a lot of chivalry to uphold ones country against all odds.
