Taylor, broad, southee, sharma all debuted in 2007-08. A 13 or 14 yr long career is pretty normal. Kudos to anderson though 👏 18 years in international cricket now🔥
@@rvs1444 absolutely! Also looking forward to watching Kyle Jameson playing his first oversees test in England, (Lord's no less) with the Duke ball. Also the mature and now fully world class Tim Southee. It's a shame Ben Stokes won't be playing. I think Joe Root is going to need to score very heavily for England in this coming series. Indeed, New Zealand have a lot of very mature top class talent to watch with anticapation now. Latham and Nicholls in particular with the bat and Neil Wagner with the ball to. Also look out for a very motivated performance from the eternally underrated, (or at least under-noticed) BJ Watling who will be playing his last 3 test matches. Another 100 or two in England would finish things off wonderfully for him. England will be a serious challenge without doubt, and will maybe even still be favourites being at home, but it seams to me they're going to be dangerously without some of their best players. The great Anderson and Broad will have to step up along with Root. No doubt some other new talent will announce itself to.
@@kennethcrowther2277 Agree......This is New Zealand's best chance. I think they struggled in Australia last year because they dint really play the extra bounce well Here in England it's swing and they do have a lot of swing bowlers and hence their batsmen would fare better England aren't very strong but the bowling attack is. Root, Broad and Anderson have to step up Can't wait
Almost After 2 Years There will be a test match at Lord's The Last Test played at Lord's was in Ashes 2019 14-18 August which was drawn This year there are 2 Test matches at Lord's Eng vs Nz 2-6 June 1st test Eng vs Ind 12-16 June 2nd test Really Excited to watch Both the test at Lord's
@@CricketShortsandVideos-cx1ji WTC final is Not At Lord's it is at the Ageas bowl Southampton It was going to be played at Lord's but the Hotel Facility in Southampton is exceptional There Hilton Hotel in the stadium itself
Broad and anderson was main Duo in Vaghan's captaincy, Strauss's captaincy in cook's captaincy they were the best. We even get too see them together in Root's captaincy
Vettori if played in sub continent conditions would have picked 700 wickets..! Just see this pitch it is not assisting spinners still using his intelligence bowled well
That's not how it always works. Lyon has so many wickets despite playing in Australia, check his record in Indian decks where there's more help for spinners. It's not that black and white
@@Saurabhhx nathan lyon take 85 wickets in 11 tests in india and his averagr is 22 which better than his career average 31 .so in indian decks his record is better which is normal so please know information before talk bullshit.
Thank you lords crkt ground for sharing such a wonderful matches highlights. Plz do Upload more matches highlights in quick time rather than periods of weeks. Thankyou, lov from 🇵🇰

I love both teams. New Zealand and England are my favourite international cricket teams. I just enjoyed all innings. Daniel Vettori is one of my favourite NZ cricketer. Jacob Oram's century was wonderful. We must appreciate the English crowd also because they are clapping and giving respect for New Zealand Cricketers. When NZ Cricketers scores the boundaries. English people are clapping and giving respect for NZ Cricketers. That was wonderful. 👍 My Top 10 Favourite New Zealand Cricketers: 1. Brendon McCullum 2. Chris Cairns 3. Jacob Oram 4. Trent Boult 5. Scott Styris 6. Craig McMillan 7. Mitchell Santner 8. Daniel Vettori 9. Ross Taylor 10. Kane Williamson
Strauss and Trescothick and then Strauss and Cook were our opening batsmen for years. We were so lucky to have that. We need to get back to that sort of world class opening batsmen to be the best.
@@mrkipling2201 absolutely, in the ashes 2005, the openers Marcus Trescothick and Andrew Strauss together posted 100+ opening partnership and hence England was on the front seat.
@@jitendraprasad9268 certainly were. Started in the Edgbaston test when Ponting made a terrible decision to put us into bat and carried on from there. That 2005 series was brilliant but it also meant it would be very hard in Australia in 2006/07. Australia knew we were the better team in 2005 and wanted our blood so to speak!!
I always thought Ryan Sidebottom could have accumulated a few more MPH if he had only trimmed his locks! It’s a shame we did not see more of him. Honest hard-working professional.
@@wostah2140 Last year or so he has levelled out into a number 9-10- couple of 40s and 50s and not looking like a total bunny anymore. But to think he was batting ahead of Swann at one point is just crazy
@@sportstalk4412 As i said, he is not known for odi. He was not a great white ball player. He is known for test, 18 centuries is no joke. He was a great player. I understand why u want to troll him because he trolls India. But he was a great test player in his days.
