Thanks a bunch man! Y’know I actually don’t get that question very much! I was using my Fender Pro Reverb for this demo and it doesn’t have an effects loop on it - however, the Ibanez amp I have and use from time to time does have one and it really depends on the pedal as to whether I prefer it’s functionality via the effects loop or through my front signal chain. Because of that particularity, I tend to just opt for going through the front. I was using a 4 cable method live for a long time but not every stage is the same size and worrying about multiple factors when you don’t necessarily have to became less of an inclination for me. However, if I’m recording and something sounds better via effects loop, I go with that, assuming the amp I’m using has one. Long answer I know, but hopefully that was helpful 🤘🏾

It really depends what you’re looking for from your delay - if you’re looking to have multiple delay options available in one box, this or the DD-8 is a good option - if you want a really good sounding analog delay, the carbon copy is an awesome option. I forget if it has tap tempo or not but that’s something that makes a difference for me when it comes to delay pedals

The DD-8 is cool, but I personally think they tried to squeeze too many features into one pedal 🤷🏾‍♂️ I’ll have to take it for a spin myself and see if my opinion is changed though!
