Hi Emma! So sorry that you’ve not been feeling well but VERY happy that you had a place to go to help you through it. I totally agree that it’s hard to move out on your own. And no one should make anyone feel bad for not doing it. Or doing it and then moving back home or whatever. Taking care of your mental health is the most important thing! And Wine Girl sounds quite intriguing! Hugs to you!!❤️
I was just talking to my therapist about this. Instead of flight or fight you and I dissociate. I lose my eyesight and hearing and I feel like I’m not here. Unaware of my body or surroundings. It’s not fun. Sending you positive supporting energy! ❤️ I see you! You got this!
Damn, I definitely think some collective trauma/anxiety (not to mention any personal stuff people are dealing with) is hitting many people right now. Sending you good vibes. I liked each of the Bromance Book Club books, but often times NOT for the specific romances, which is funny. I actually think the most recent one is my favorite from the series, and it is a little banana pants in terms of plot, but I just had a lot of fun with it
Oh yeah I agree, def think once it got dark outside early, everyone got hit hard. And that's good to hear! I really love how wild the plots are, it's a lot of fun!
Hey I just wanted to say how much this helped me today. Feeling very low at the moment. Thanks for making such amazing videos where I can just be for a while ❤️
I feel ya, my eyesight blurs and darkens specifically around the edges, my brain gets foggy, and then there’s the classic symptoms of breathing difficulty, shaking, and chest pain
I think in America we really pressure people to move out on their own too much even though it’s soooo unnecessary. If you’re able to live with your family and have that support system (and save some money too!) that’s something we should be grateful for and cherish. Now I live in South Korea and here the culture surrounding that is soooo different. A lot of people don’t move out of their parents’ house until marriage! So you see lots of people even into their 30s and 40s living with their parents and literally no one judges them for it. It’s just normal. Anyway what I’m trying to say is, good for you for making the choice that was right for your mental health, don’t feel defeated, and don’t hesitate to take your time before you find a new place. You did the right thing and you’re going to be okay in the end!!! Hugs!
Great video, you are an amazing person, I think this is a hard time to live alone and there is nothing wrong with moving back to where you feel safe and loved. Anyway good for you being honest and open about this, I am sure there are many others out there feeling the same way. I don't read a lot of romance but love to hear your thoughts so when I am in the mood for one I have so good options to pick from. Also wine girls sounds interesting.
awe thank you, that's a really sweet comment --- and yes so many good options - I would say if you're not a big romance reader -- out of these in this video --- honestly Bromance Bookclub series is fun because the plot is so big! or Seven Days in June! And yes Wine Girl is amazing
Appreciate the honesty about where you find yourself at and hope you're taking care. I have been trying to just let myself feel the negative feelings as they come and doing something daily that brings me joy. Enjoyed hearing of your thoughts on the books.
Physical symptoms of anxiety are SO real! For me, I lose my appetite completely and wake up like every 10 minutes in a panic when I'm reallllly trying to sleep. I always have my Libby app open next to the tab of your videos because you have such great reccommendations!
Double commenting but not sorry about it haha- I also get bad physical anxiety symptoms!! For me it manifests by having trouble breathing. It’s sooo bad and distracting and I hate it. It feels like I’m actually dying when it happens. And it didn’t go away until I went on SSRIs. So anyway I feel you.
Other booktubers will recommend books and I’m like “nah I’m not gonna read that” and then you’ll recommend the same book and I’ll change to “wow guess it’s going on my tbr.” Also hope you’re doing okay, sending you love
