Hope you're doing good! This reminds me that I need to read legendborn. I want to try icebreakers. Maame is waiting for me on my shelf and I am looking forward to it. I loved the trilogy by sa chakraborty and also recommend those ones!! But now I need to get to her latest too. I still want to read the fine print 🙈 Oh wait i was getting the fine print confused with twisted love. I don't want to read the fine print I want to read twisted love 😂
Nice to see you back! Winter's Promise has been on my tbr for ages but I keep not picking it up because i get turned off of having to read a whole series. But I will read it eventually! Currently reading Greenwood and listening to Why Fish Don't Exist on audio.
I was very curious about butts a backstory because I love a good butt but it doesn't sound interesting enough so I am going to skip it. And I am so excited to read hibbert's take on YA and I am glad to see everyone has been loving it. Notes on a young black chef is one I want to try. I don't really read about restaurants and fine dining in nonfiction, only in fiction so far. LISTEN as a teenager I loved the shatter me covers and the eyes I thought they were so beautiful and gorgeous lol. I read the first three shatter me books and I was so not about them and I don't read mafi anymore lol. I loved kenji though in the first three
The goldfish in the background make me feel seen! Also, I put 5 of the books you mentioned on my tbr, so thank you for the recs :) always happy to see when you post
I have a lot of swap books these days and the good ones always have an extensive training scene or a friend on the way which helps them A LOT to make it more realistic.
Mince pies need to be eaten with custard to be appreciated to the max! I enjoy them but don't love them dry otherwise they are a bit too dry and glutinous. Christmas pudding is a bit horrible... also needs to be eaten with custard I believe though...
I am such a hater, I don't really like love actually or the holiday ;.; But also... I don't tend to enjoy romcoms (only in films!! love a romance book!!) so that also isn't surprising.
You're a hero girl because I can't stand christmas puddings or minced pies. Won't eat them, at all. I dislike dried fruits, raisins etc and this stuff is just full of it. All these horrible stuffs. Ugh!!!
A little late watching this but I just got The Witches of Moonshyne Manor from the library and now I’m even more excited to read it!! Love your vlogs❤️
Emma & Emma forever!! (No shade to Raf or the bf lol). These are the best videos! Emma you need to visit Emma in the U.S. next❤️ I watch Love Actually and The Holiday EVERY Christmas😁 I think you should watch the Holiday together and add commentary on why you love it/hate it. Pleeeeaaasssseee!!! Oh! And also while drinking wine of course!😂
I’ve never seen anyone heat up a mince pie before, yuck! Cold is the best way in my humble opinion and when it comes to pudding, cream is what makes it delicious 🤤 😀 Maybe you could try it again next year but include your parents because I’d honestly love to see their reactions to them as well😀 This was very entertaining 😂
@@DrinkingByMyShelf I’ve never tried brandy butter 🤔 I’ll give it a try this year and see how I go. Maybe we have them cold in Australia because it’s summer here & hot 🥵 I would love love love a snowy, cold Christmas but that’s never going to happen 😭😭😭😂😂
Oh well there are better ones - Royal Holiday by Jasmine Guillory, The Christmas Bookshop by Jenny Cologan, and One Day in December are also very cozy and christmay
