I appreciate all the professors who come on RU-vid to teach. I'm a student of English literature. I have a deep love for English literature and language, but such is my condition that I could never get quality education since I was born. I'm from Bihar and the education system really sucks here. Our professors don't provide us with the right explanation. 😢 It aches my heart everyday when I have the realisation of not getting a quality education . I'm just telling you about my woes so that you know somewhere in a small city a girl is appreciating you for the work you have done. Oh, how I wish you I had you as my teacher. I happend upon multiple videos by you while studying for college. I'm currently in 3rd semester of BA, started college in the year 2020. Due to the pandemic classes have been online and irregular with the college not setting a proper routine for classes and teachers taking them according to their own personal convenience, which means classes at random times of the day, with the announcement made 5 minutes before starting. This has resulted to many students missing their classes even when they don't want to, which includes me. I can't begin to tell you how much your videos have helped me. You're teaching style being calming, medium paced and indulging has me learning without feeling overwhelmed or bored. You also seem knowledgeable and genuinely interesting in what you teach so it really makes me want to pay attention to every word you say because I genuinely want to hear what you have to say. I would like to thank you whole heartedly for your videos ♡

In order to lessen my screen time, I prefer simply listening to the content of the video in case it is not of that type where something is shown on screen. Now when I see Lakshmi maam's videos, I am compelled to look at the screen because of her facial expressions while teaching, and most importantly her eyes, they just steal my vision till the video is over.
