A Van In A Ditch, And 'The Fallen' Trail In Sand Hollow

This recovery was filmed a while ago where a sprinter van had slid into the ditch along the road at night. So the next morning we took the customer back to the vehicle and helped get it out and back on the road. Then we jump forward to our trip to Sand Hollow, on the final day of wheeling we decided to run The Fallen Trail. Each obstacle on this trail has a plaque dedicated to the fallen soldiers of each major conflict. We all have nothing but respect for those who have volunteered to defend us both alive and passed. Thank you to all veterans across the world, and especially thank you to everyone for watching and supporting us.

Thank you, Rory. Shaun, Mike. I watch you from Namibia in south western Africa. I am a quad bike operator into the "Sea of Sand". I retrieve broken down quads from the dunes on a regular basis, but got no experience driving in/over rocks or in mud. Your driving skills as well as your Trail Mater really impress me. Keep it up.

Thanks for filling in this dead spot in the towing and recovery of vehicles video. Rory and his team did an awesome job pulling the van out of the ditch and getting him on down the road. The Veteran Falling Trail was awesome! There was some nice obstacles and the different plaques along the way really brought back some memories of my 20 years in the Navy and I appreciate that this trail has been dedicated to our fallen heroes. Thanks again for this video.

So your new shorty rope will fit behind your seat...with your poly tarp. You know, the one you can lie on when it's muddy/raining or shade you from the sun 🤪 You also know that someone will use the shorty rope for something it wasn't designed for...pull an engine, hang a deer to clean, tie up there wife...all kinds of things. Can't blame the manufacture for that, some will. What happened to being accountable for your own stupidity? The plaques on the trails in honour of the fallen vets is pretty cool.

I have telescopes … but in the winter it’s always … and I do mean always …white skies. But I do manage to get to Utah … in a manner of speaking … because now iTelescope has scopes at Beryl, UT that are accessible through the internet.

I don't know that I'll ever have the opportunity (or guts!) to drive a rig through one of these trails, but if I ever do, I want Rory as my spotter. I swear he could guide a riding lawn mower through these obstacles. He understands the physics, the mechanics, and can visualize how the vehicle will respond. And if it doesn't respond that way, he just wills it to behave. Well done. And super cool to have all the conflict plaques on that trail.
