Somebody you worked with and my friend Kent daid one time you were king of the short lines . I'll add switching to that Enjoyed the video. Just so you I have watched all your videos
Great little back and forth switching with tracks Kris Kross and of course sometimes go out of view. These places are really going by the wayside there is one place on the southside of Milwaukee that gets two boxcars of bricks a year and luckily it's got a long enough siding to store maintenance of the equipment so the UP keeps the switch in good shape. I always appreciate your taking the time to find these obscure tracks. Lord knows some of these it would take a decade to get the same number of cars as you see in a regular freight train
Great video of all the switching ops going on! This is one reason i created a shelf switching layout to enjoy some model railroad switching. Thanks again Scott for another great video. Cheers from Laurel, Delaware USA.
Thank you. My last layout started with a small 4 track yard and then loops, no industry. I quickly found I enjoyed switching cars at the yard rather than running in a loop. Next layout will be highly industry based.
I only have 2-3x. They did redo a lot of track at that cement plant last year. Added 2x the amount of track, was cool to watch. Super interesting operation with the WYE, and dead end bridge - they usually use remote control loco's @@ScottTaipaleRail
