Yeah, I learned about this show from RU-vid and it’s absolutely hilarious. One of the greatest shows I’ve seen from this format, I can only pray for it to come back and he was the most amazing choice for host of this masterpiece
This show is genius. It didn't last because A) who the hell still watches Comedy Central? And B) I literally just heard about it recently, which means they were shit at advertising, and that kinda loops back to point A. RIP 5 stars
For real. I have never ever seen this on CC, even when i had cable. Definitely would've watched this. This is solid. It's no Nathan For You (also a fallen legendary show), but it's still awesome
Yeah! Plus I feel that Comedy Central sensed the fuck show of a kid friendly smelting pot RU-vid would become and just through these out here for a chance that RU-vid would only pick on the well known subsidiaries like Crowder. Maybe some good ole side revenue on things they've already made a killing on. Or if they were cool, some American publicity and notoriety for this Australian bomb shell of a show. Which we all know it wasnt for anything except the thought of a few extra laughs and dollars. Have a good night folks Ill be here all week.
Apparently they actually really liked the show but the viewership wasn't doing well enough, so they at least gave them basically an hour's worth of time to wrap the show up (either as an hour long special or multiple normal episodes).
This is honestly the best ending for the show. I thought Forrest would either get killed or kill everyone, but now he is trapped in a hell of his own creation.
Just in case you didn't know. The guy asking for the review - Phil - is actually Phil Lloyd, who played Myles Barlow in the original Australian version of the show, Review With Myles Barlow. Nice little cameo there.
This is an absolute perfect ending to the weird genre fusion that is tragicomedy. Choosing the show after his family, this is the only way it could of ended. Every character gets a happy ending, except for Forest of course.
fotorolo Golden Girls, I Love Lucy, Desilu Comedy Hour, Carol Burnett Show, Saturday Night Live (pre-millennium/anything before 2000), Are You Been Served?, The Vicar of Dibley, Frazier, Absolutely Fabulous= brilliant comedy. :)
Mexicanlolify no it was cancelled. They were planning on wrapping it up eventually, but not in season 3. Andy Daly did an interview and was asked about if season 3 would be the last, and he said "that's what we're being told, yes"
I watched this show on comedy Central all the time. I never knew this was how it ended. Managed to be funny, tragic, and an emotional episode all in one. I give this series. 5 stars
So this is the first "episode" of review i'm watching, I watched it til the end and only realized the show actually got cancelled after reading people's comments hahaha
I just found out about this show today and in the first video i saw a comment saying “Please don’t stop doing these they’re amazing!” So i started binging on the videos and was excited to find a funny and good show to watch...then this episode came up...i feel disappointed
I just finished this whole series, and I realised that Grant must have known the show was tanking all along + he chooses the questions. So his plan for revenge was to psychologically manipulate Forrest into rejecting his wife and starting the prank review, before revealing the news.
I just binged all 3 seasons and i can truly say. I am glad it is over. I just watched a man in a perfect life go thru a delusional and maniac obsession about being a good show host. It made me feel so uncomfortable at some parts that it made it look real. This was a roller coaster that I don't ever want to experience again. 1 2 3 4 5 6!
The show was fucking funny as hell. I hate that they ended the best show that comedy central has ever made. At least they ended it perfectly, and not just leaving it on a cliffhanger.
I just realised the person who asks what it’s like to be pranked is the same guy who did the original review show in Australia that this show is based on
This show was so much better than anything on comedy central now. The comics on comedy central are trash now. It all seems to be a bunch of women trying to land dude jokes about their sex lives. Yes, we get it, sex. Sex is raunchy, especially when explicitly discussed by a female. Sarah Silverman pioneered this, made a career out of it, and wore it out. It's now just low hanging fruit. Like Donald Trump jokes.
The guy who asks Forest what's it feel to be pranked , is Myles Barlow , his show was the one who inspired this (reviews with Myles Barlow) The 2 seasons are full on RU-vid : ru-vid.com
this show was just too good to be on a shit channel like comedy central. With proper marketing I have no doubt that it would have had a much larger following than it did. Just look at the views on all the youtube clips from people who discovered it after it ended. There isnt a single episode that isnt hilarious.
Comedy Central I had no idea this was on...but this is one of the best shows I have ever seen in my life. This guy is next level funny, the writing is absolutely genius, you suck as a network at promoting shows and this is a prime example! Nice job Review host, writing and crew, one of the funniest shows I’ve ever come across, it’s totally brilliant!
