Dear Colleen, When you were explaining what it felt like to go through those boxes, you kept justifying the way you felt. I want you to know that I think it's BEAUTIFUL that someone could be so passionate about something. I think it's what makes you an artist (and I know some might not consider the character of Miranda as "art", but I certainly do.). You put your HEART & SOUL into your work, and that is what has made you so successful and inspiring to many people, including myself. Thanks for your example. You probably won't even see this comment, but I want you to know I can relate to how you're feeling. I served as a missionary for my church for a while, and it was one of the greatest experiences of my life. And when I look back on my time on my mission, it's extremely emotional. When I read my journals, or look at pictures, or see clothing I wore as I walked in the streets, memories come flooding back and it's a very raw, very real and very emotional experience for me. Every time. I hope don't feel like you need to continue to justify why finishing with Haterz Back Off was so hard for you, because you have all the reason in the world to feel those things. You are an artist, but more importantly, you are a SUCCESSFUL and PASSIONATE artist... Regardless of your show being cancelled. I am excited to see you continue creating. I don’t think you’re being dramatic at all. It’s a big part of your life, & it’s really hard to walk away from. The analogy of when you lose a loved one, was such a good analogy. Haters Back Off was actually how I found Miranda in the first place, and thanks to the show now I watch your videos, Colleen! I'm so glad you got to make your dreams come true, and it's so amazing how much you were involved in that project, from writing to starring in it and everything in between. Even though the show is over, you're just getting started, and just think, soon some other girls making videos online may have their dreams come true by being in a new show you write, or you could release the song that someone dances to at their wedding, or you could star in someone's favorite movie. You have so much talent and so much ahead of you, girl. Even if haters back off seems like the end, it was only the beginning, and we can't wait to see all the amazing things you do 💕💕

You're not being dramatic! I totally understand how you're feeling. I've been involved with many local theatrical productions and I relate to you. When you pour your heart out into a show and give it everything you've got, but all of a sudden the run is over and you'll never get to do it ever again, it's just devastating. But also so bittersweet.

This was bittersweet to see all the props and costumes from HBO. Watching you remember where each and every item came from, what episode it was in, and your thoughts during that time; really shows how much of your heart and soul went into that show. I absolutely LOVED every minute of it, Colleen! (As did A LOT of people!) Season 2 was my personal favorite, so many innuendos and subtle jokes. And full of emotions and further character development that brought Miranda to life. The Netflix show may be over, but there's no stopping Miranda! You're moving on to BIGGER and BETTER things, I just know it! Thanks for sharing some of the moments/memories with us. You're an AMAZING human, Colleen! We love you and Kory so much!! You look at your cap and gown and realize those 12 years of school have passed by and you will never be in the same room with all your classmates again. I had a class of 42. So we were very close. I actually don't think you're dramatic at all, I feel upset every time I think about the fact that we will never get to see the characters again too. For someone who is even closer to the project, I can understand the way you feel.

People often refer creating art, creating a story, creating a character as their baby. I don’t blame you at all for feeling like you lost a life. Especially when this character and story is very personal to you and contains so many elements of your own life and childhood. It’s ok to cry, reminisce and miss it Colleen!
