A fine documentary. WQED should get the funding to do mini-series based on Pittsburgh novels ,an American version of MASTERPIECE THEATER. Two very good subjects would be THE VALLEY OF DECISION by Marcia Davenport and OUT THIIS FURNACE by Thomas Bell. I would be a good way to show the history and culture of the area in a more enjoyable way than just strict documentaries that would appeal to young people. It would promote reading the novels as well as tourism in the area, Both novels do a fine job exploring the cultures of various groups and how they came together.

This is Perfection. Thank you, Mr Sebak. And thank you WQED for being the soundtrack to my childhood. I'm proud that my son is a native Pittsburgher.

I just watched more of his stuff here on YT though I had seen his documentary on theme parks years ago and rewatched it every time I could. I just love his style. He reminds of Charles Kuralt.

A beautiful history of a beautiful station. It was the national PBS docs of the '90s that first exposed me to WQED. Glad to continue to be a viewer!
