(June 2023) They seriously could have gotten away with a wheelchair lift here. this is a VERY short hydraulic Elevator

Wheelchair lifts and LULAs aren’t meant for heavy use and are quite slow, so that’s probably why they went with a regular elevator.

There are 16 small steps on the left side of the elevator, and 15 small steps on the right side of the elevator.

There’s one in The Woodlands, TX that’s probably about that same height, also coincidentally a ThyssenKrupp. Maybe ThyssenKrupp’s one of the only brands that does elevators that short?

They should have chosen an Otis Gen2 elevator. Unless your fast the elevator would win the race.

They probably could’ve saved a few bucks by installing a LULA for that short distance

The problem with a LULA would be the speed of the elevator which would result in a long wait time when there is a lot of people.
