This gives red flag vibes…they way she was looking at him to see how upset he actually was, the way she nervously tried to play it off. He could have just not said anything and no one would have even noticed. HE ruined the moment, good job ass hat 👏👏

I get both their reactions/ actions lol. I guess in the moment he probably wasnt thinking and was just disappointed but im sure looking back he would do that if ever in the situation again. He seems like a good guy and just was a bit shocked and sad. And im sure she will also be cautious next time if there is one lol

What a jerk- in front of the little girl, too- fault-finders like him ruin things like this and blame others like everything they do is a mistake. A good guy makes you feel confident and supported, and if a mistake IS made, he minimizes it and reassures them its ok.

Surprises aren’t supposed to be ruined nor told and if a surprise is told or ruined it takes out the fun and objective of what the surprise was. In this case any normal human being who really wanted to know what the surprise was would act the same way.

If you are so focused on gender it means you don't really care about the child itself and what will be his/her/their personality, but gender. It may be kinda interesting for parents to know the gender, I can understand that, but if you make something so important out of it, I just can't understand it. I know I can make someone angry by saying it, but now gender means almost shit. And forcing kids to be like "girls" or "boys" in stereotypical way is just cruel and I can imagine parents, who make gender reveal partys, doing this. Oh and I have my mum's surname and in my opinion kids should have mums' surnames as they are more often raised by mothers.
I agree. You can tell by the Dad's reaction. I didn't see anything until they took the glasses and dug into the cake and revealed it then. He looks like one of those everything needs to be perfect for social media type of person!😊😂
@@toredarivera1615no the point was, was that the gender reveal was for BOTH of them, not just social media. They didn't want the reveal to be them pulling the stick out, they wanted to reveal it by using the glasses.

This short video is pretty telling. How people react to situations is the best way to see someone’s actual traits. She messed it up, but he could have pretended not to see it, to continue the joy & fun of the occasion for his wife and his little one. Or, he could have laughed and had a great time with it. They were literally about to reveal it anyway, so he found out *one second* earlier than they planned. Rather than being excited about the “revelation of having another girl,” he was more disappointed that her mistake took away *his part* with the glass. 🙄 There are so many ways he could have reacted, but to shame her for messing it up, “I don’t know what you were doing there?” With the “I can’t believe you did that!” And “what were you thinking???” stare.. Sorry, but he’s a jerk. 👎
Apparently they were doing this in front of an audience of family and friends so IMHO he wasn't the only one who noticed. He was disappointed more for the whole group than just himself. That decoration shouldn't have even been on there.

I may be stretching it a bit to judge him by a tiny clip.. But I would suggest that the way he reacted indicates a controlling personality. When something doesn’t go as they planned, it really really upsets them. Also the way the mother reacted was a little tense and anxious. And the girl could feel the tension, yet remained silent and lost all interest in the cake..

Negativity? Mom made a mistake, and dad was like, “wait! people are gonna see it.” Dads makes mistakes all the time and moms tell them about it ALL THE TIME, while the child watches. No one is talking about how children absorb THAT negativity, coming from their mother toward their father.

Just to say, yes I do think he overreacted. It was a very long time to be that upset for, and it was a very special moment too for the wife. Yes he’s allowed to be upset but it’s just uncomfortable to watch, its not her fault she didn’t mean to, and as grown ass adults it’s time to move on after a while, not beat her up about it. As people we have to control our emotions and be aware of what others feel as well, she obviously felt bad and he just wouldn’t let it go. I just don’t think he handled it well, I never said he was abusive or scum, just that it wasn’t a mature way of handling it.

I was originally on the dad’s side because of how sad she looked and she just laughed, but I noticed that no one would’ve noticed had he not said anything, killed the vibe immediately
As a father myself, whenever I find out something that could spoil it for everyone, I just choose to shut the fck up and let everyone else in the family have their fun. Men are excellent at not saying sht.
