Hey! Never reviewed a game on this channel. Why not start with a 2010 Wii game. So yeah, here's a review of the 2010 Trackmania Wii port. And yeah you, should definitely try this one out. Twitter: / f4micom
Also in my opinion, Trackmania United Forever is the go to game if you want to experience the Trackmania 1 series at it's best, the Wii version have completely different physics and the cars bounces way more, also I would love to see you reviewing the other games like Original, Sunrise, Nations, United and the Trackmania 2 games, I'm sure you'll have a blast and it would be a great series to watch!
Pretty nice video and a very interesting point of view. Even if this was released on the Wii, it contains the vibe of old Trackmania games (pre-2011). It is a nice point of entry into the serie. I would put Trackmania Nations Forever along side it because it's free and is the most famous one. Trackmania Turbo (not the DS one), is also a really good entry point for the new Trackmania games. It contains the same track editor as the regular one and 200 challenging tracks. A very good game for those who are unfamiliar with Trackmania.
I'd argue Trackmania Nations Forever is actually the easiest entry point to Trackmania, since it's completely free and does work on Windows 10 (you can get it on Steam). You only get the Stadium environment but that should give you an idea of if you're gonna like this game or not.
I've been playing trackmania for 16 years and MAN do I enjoy it. I recently started grinding the first track of nations and now I have the U.S national record!!
omg trackmania wii, i got this game for my birthday back in 2011 and i think all i did was sit in the track editor trying to make the Very Fast Car at Incredible Hihg Speed go the max speed of "999" and skip off the water like a skipping stone to reach the islands in the background (which i think can be done? i'll have to try again)
I know this is an old video, but isn't it possible to have multiplayer again with Wiimfi like other games? You would need a homebrewed Wii for that, but it should work, I think.
It's pretty generic BUT it's okay and fits the mood except for one track, Coast 1 (ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-mTLbTp9nogE.html), which literally is a cover of Dancing In The Halls Of Love from Alessi Brothers and has been stuck in my head for YEARS since I first played the game, total banger, love it
oh yeah, let me play this greatest arcade racer of all time, trackmania sunrise, oh no, my pc fucking erased its own memory and sold itself to the blackmarket and keeps screaming hail skynet, i guess ill stop trying to play it.
In properties you can change the compatability for these game sin windows 10 where you can make it think it's running on a xp or Vista computer, should maybe fix some of the stuff wrong with the old versions for windows
No that's not enough because the game has StarForce (which on modern PCs is super broken and basically is a virus that breaks your Windows permanently). Thankfully Russians got it figured out in 2020 and made "patches" to play the games on Windows newer than XP without ever letting StarForce touch your PC.
How did you get your classic controller? These must be rare, because the only only one I was able to find was this cheap knockoff one, that only wheighted 7.25 kilobytes... imgur.com/a/09JZHTs
