the funny thing is the first time i ever got on league urf (bc i was a noob) and i got sona and i was like this is a shit champ in norms so shes a shit champ in ar urf. i rerolled her. 4 months later i regret my decisions
I say both urfs are garbage because in ARURF you have no control over what champion you get so if you're like me and own all champions, you're most likely going to get some shitty champion that can't do shit in URF like Yasuo and Kindred, whereas in normal URF, since anyone can pick any champion as long as they own them, you are just going to see the same 10 champions unless Riot bans them outright like they did with Karthus, Kassadin, Ryze, Hecarim, etc. so if you just wanted to play your favourite champion that wasn't one of the bullshit cunt champions that are basically unstoppable after one kill like Evelynn, you can't do anything because the enemy team has most likely picked the cancerous champions like Katarina and any healer with an extremely spammable heal.
+Zorro I think original URF was nice because there were permabans and your team could also ban champions they didn't want to see or were also OP, and even if the enemy had an OP team either you could also pick OP champs or have fun with whatever you wanted, building team comps and stuff. In ARURF it's mostly just about whoever gets the better team
I agree but I still don't find it fun to ban the same 6 champions out of the ones that didn't get permabanned, I also didn't have any friends to play with when normal URF was around so I couldn't really make any funny team comps or working team comps it was mainly just a bunch of players running around with OP champions while I sat there, 90% of the time with a black and white screen because I wanted to play Thresh, Braum and Maokai (I played when Maokai was limited to 5 saplings out at a time.) From my experience with people who played URF, they took the mode infinitely more serious than they would take a normal or even a ranked game which just turned me off from the mode even more because it's not fun to play with some cunt who does nothing but gloat about how fed they're getting as Katarina and telling me that I should kill myself because I'm doing bad in URF.
My off tank WarWick in Urf hasn't failed me yet. Of course since its a team game, they killed the other four until they could kill me better. Took like 2 minutes of constant damage last time, and I am entirely serious when I say that, but eventually the stun spam and my counter fear canceled just lead to me being shot to death by a hyper carry. And my team sitting under fucking tower or dead, and too scared to help me. Fucking cowards.
