Great video, it's well I remember fondly in the 50's when I was a young boy my Mother bringing me each Friday afternoon for ice cream in a small shop beside Sheridan's Hardware in Watergate Street. Many Thanks
My wife was born in County Carlow in 1951. A different time as nobody knew wealthy people and the life was very simple…very religious times and a very happy childhood and any thing was appreciated especially a trip to Tramore by the seaside.
This is really a very great video so thanks. What a lovely place this is, full of ancient history and with its own round tower, Now I understand why St Patrick came here. It has been my dream since I was a very young boy that when I get rich or even Well Off I would build my own round tower reaching 360 ft into the air
Still live here in Ireland right now, heading up to Seventy. It is a lovely place., bit more rubbish and more graffiti, but not where I live just now. Thanks, I think, my parents guided me well.
A time when life was enjoyable at a slow pace. People were kinder had respect and asked for nothing more. Money was valued more no easy come easy go.kids were caned and didn't go on the rampage like now.now it's a different world.
Cool video, but nostalgia is a fraud. Anyone who thinks it was heaven back then is over 50, miserable about how their life turned out, and full of shite.
