A Visit to Northwest Arkansas Mall 

The slinky light fixtures in the middle of the corridor halls looks like barbed wire! 😂😂😂

It’s a shame Namdar is the owner. I really don’t like the barbed wire looking fixtures. It’s a strange choice for a mall. The trees are a nice touch and fountains are always great. The white and wooden ceiling fixtures were nice. I see a lot of empty storefronts though. Hopefully the stores that are still there can hang on. Great video Doomie!

A 90's renovation without aqua tile and a water feature, nice. I'd go there. Hope they can keep it going.

Awful centre light fittings …. A bit over the top for a few up lighters …I agree .. it does look like barbed wire !

I have to say that this is a really good look for a modern mall. If you add the fountain area from Fargo to this mall, it would be perfect.

Very nice mall! Sucks that namdar is the owner. It would be great if a local company with a portfolio of properties in that region could rip it away from namdar.

This mall reminds me of the Mall at St Mathew’s. Not a bad one.

The only things I like about this mall are the plants, the fountain and the food court/trees. My favourite thing about this place is the triangular pattern at the entrance at 1:00. It's very nice.

For most of my life I always thought it was pronounced Arkansas instead of Arkinsaw. I was like oh, there's Kansas and then there's Arkansas. LOL!

Hmmm I think you picked a day and time that did not represent the traffic of this mall. I’ve only Bennette a few times but those few times had 100’s of visitors. The food court was nearly full. It’s a nice video but not representative of the guests that I’ve seen. NWA is booming and the mall is fantastic for shopping in this heat.

I can tell this would be by Preit over Simon by the look inside. It’s almost like a mix of Plymouth Meeting Mall and Exton Square Mall here near Philadelphia. The food court is like Exton with Live trees and the rest of the layout inside looks a little more like Plymouth Meeting Mall in the small hallways leading to Exits. But overall between the two, I would lean it towards Exton more for a mall alike the Northwest Arkansas Mall. Plymouth Meeting Mall is mainly straight hallway with 2 floors and able to look at the high ceiling while at Exton with 2 floors you can’t in half of the mall.

The way you insulted the state it’s obvious you are an out of stater. That being said, Fayetteville would do well to replace this mall with a lifestyle center similar to the mall in Rogers.

1st.I bet that 5.99 or less store is loaded with quality stuff. I see a lot of empty shops in there.

This mall has a higher percentage of good looking women than most busy malls you've done. That alone might keep it alive for a while.

Beautiful. I miss the days (80's) when malls had those huge ficus trees planted @14:07. Then it seemed like it went to palm trees in the 90's in many malls and now a simple fiddle leaf fig plant randomly placed in a pot along the corridor

Some large empty storefronts …like you say that could be the start of a downfall.. still , I’m not taken with the ceiling treatments .. too busy and low for my liking .. and what on earth sort of fashion do you get for only 5.99 ?.

Well, the barbed-wire lighting is original, I'll say that. Interesting to see the parts of the ceiling that are painted black with wood features below. Nice to see water features and plantlife.

Another nice looking mall. Thanks for the tour. Keep the great content coming. I’m hoping this mall survives. Namdar is a name most communities who have struggling malls should be aware of. He failed to make a plan to revitalize the Stratford Square Mall when he acquired it in 2019. And not just the case of Stratford Square but other malls under Namdar’s ownership. Namdar ran them to the ground. I’m hoping the best for this mall.

Boston Store was a small very old chain of luxury department stores based out of Fort Smith, Arkansas. The family that had them shut them down in the 80’s. The store’s travel agency still exists in Fort Smith.

For this video I ate a blueberry flavoured creamiscle along with a raspberry flavoured creamsicle as well. Oh my goodness, it's been ages since the last time I had them. Provigo grocery store closed down because of the cost of living crisis and Maxi grocery store took over instead because they have cheaper options. I didn't know what to expect, but they shrunk down the size of the product. That's not surprising in times like these.🙁
