A Visit to Uptown Christianburg (New River Valley Mall)

I haven't been to this mall since I graduated from Tech in 1999. It was never fully occupied when I was there, but it looks like it has gotten worse.

I like the rocking chairs.

Where I work! The mall is doing slightly better than the time you filmed this. But back in the day it had a nice food court and fountain in the atrium. Miss those days.

This mall is ok. I also love the Cottage House vibes (slightly on the inside and fully on the outside) that this mall brings. I also love the pale green, yellow and blue colours on the ceiling. Also another mall that has a fireplace. This seems to be the thing lately.😊🤎Nice upload Doomie.

For this video I consumed a mocha with 2 Brownie flavoured Bear Paws. I guess that was an unintentional good choice that's perfect for a video like this.

I really like the ski lodge look of this mall. Nice use of colors. Way too many vacancies, and those shitty specialty shops filled with a church, or a armed forces center. I can't believe no food cort! This place is big enough to support one. Loss of 1 more anchor and put a fork in this place!
