Fantastic tour Trev & Sue, looks like we missed you by only a few days. Unbelievable change in the weather 😟 Hope you had a great time, sending our best wishes to you both, Keith & Michele.
Thanks Keith & Michele, we had a couple of nice days but it was so chilly compared with the previous two weeks. It would have been great to see you again 😃 Have a relaxing Easter 🐣 Trev n Sue
Hi Trev and Sue, it looks a lovely site. Well thought out. That’s novel having the black waste on your pitch. Enjoyed the walk around, nice dog area with the agility. Handy having Salop across the road with a garden centre that is always a bonus. Thank you for sharing. Xx
We really enjoyed it there. It’s quite different to what we usually choose but we were keen to meet our friends again and didn’t want to miss an opportunity to see what it was like at Love2Stay 😃 Trev
Stunning site. Cant believe the weather you had when leaving home. Its not a cheap site compared to concierge camping. But still great for you both to show us around. Take Care
That site would be perfect for my family as they could rent a pod or tent while we’re in the van and there’s lots for the entire family to do, including the dogs. Like you, I’m not sure if we would go on our own but it’s definitely somewhere to keep in mind for family holidays. Thanks for sharing.
Wow, that park looks massive with all manner of things to do and variety. If you had asked either of us 10-20 years ago, we would have loved to have visited and when out daughter was younger it would have been our idea of heaven, whilst you couldn’t fault the site and the vast range of facilities which far exceeds any site we have stayed on. I think we would share your type of preference but would be amazing for families with kids - great vlog as always, loved the awning time-lapse made us both laugh - all the best, David & Rachel 👍
Thanks guys. Isn’t it brilliant that we both put out site reviews of totally different types of site. I really enjoy your voice over on yours, maybe I should try that more often 👍🏻😃 Trev
@@PoshcatsCamping It’s bizarre on the contrast, on size and facilities on site which the resort just kept giving. I find voice overs make it easier (for me) when filming (sometimes less embarrassing too 😳) but more time and effort later in edit when I wish I had just set up properly and done it in real time 😀 - thank you - David 👍
It’s lovely and being next to Salop Leisure, the garden centre, cafe and motorhome sales with everything else next door, there’s plenty to look at. Watch the prices climb for summer though 😉 Trev
It certainly has tip top facilities and is probably one of the best campsites in the country. I am sure it’s not to everybody’s taste but nobody can deny it has just about everything on this site 🙂🚐 Trev
@@PoshcatsCamping just had a look at the prices quite steep but looks worth it. I like the pitches with the awning (Isabella) good for taking family with you. Take care Sarah
It’s very unique and beautiful for camping, glamping and all sorts of activities. Not the sort of place you go to read a book 😂 But that’s what I like about camping, no two campsites are the same 😃 Trev
So glad you enjoyed it there. I think the pitch you are on is one of the ones I said had the best view in our video 😊 we will definitely be going back there at some point 😊 disappointed you didn’t go for a swim Trev 😂 I braved it and it was about 8 degrees 😂 you did a great job showcasing the site. Great stuff 😊
Thanks David. I chickened out when I saw people going in with wet suits 🤣 I think my reply when Sue asked me if I wanted a swim was “sod that” 🤣🤣 or words to that effect 🤪 Take care you two 👍🏻🚐 Trev
Hi Trev and Sue we have been and Alfie loved the children's play area. The site is great the only issue we had was that they allow people in who are not staying on site and they tent to take over the seating areas and can be unpleasant to people staying on site. For that reason we would not return. Glad you enjoyed your stay Juliet
Oh that doesn’t seem fair to me. I know other campsites that allow locals to do fishing in the lake as long as they pay for a day licence. The children play areas should be for paying guests surely ? 🤔 Trev
@@PoshcatsCamping They let the members of the gym use the facilities and you can buy a day pass. I was down having a coffee while Alfie was playing and a big group had taken over all the seats in front of the pool. A man staying at the site was sat having a drink as well and the group was making remarks and giving him dirty looks. He didn't stay long. Which is shame as a great site. Cheers Juliet
That park looks huge! There's so much there!! Love when there are special areas for dogs. Though we don't tend to use them because Darbi doesn't get along with others lol. But still think it's great when they're offered. It's always nice when there's nice people to deal with at the campground. Wow some kid was really hollering in the background. The tent cabin things are cool. Whoa! I didn't know they had 5th wheels in UK. I bet they don't always have it easy getting around. I don't feel like most of the campgrounds I've seen you all go to are made to accommodate such large rigs. I like the tent/awning that your friends added to the outside of their van. That's pretty cool. Love the little beach and pool area. Wow that's an awesome kids area too! People were swimming? Um yes it looks way too cold for that lol. Interesting. Never seen an agility area for dogs at a campground. I can see why you would want to stay. It seems like a lovely campground with pretty much everything you would want. YES! Quiet. I was thinking that when the kids were yelling lol. This is why we prefer boondocking. No noisy peeps LOL.
LOL we like being in those peaceful unpopulated areas but once in a while the razzmatazz of an all singing all dancing campsite energises our soul. Back to the farm for us next week, where all we can hear is the sound of nature 😉🚐 Trev
Wow Trev, a fab looking site, as you say. I would go there, perhaps not during school holidays, but off season like you did. I rarely go back to any place I have been as there is so much else in this country to explore. Thanks for shwowing us around. Just going to have a look at their web site... Cheers, Martin
@@lyndaburrzz9303 no Lynda we paid £140 for 4 nights. We also used almost a tank of fuel travelling 390 miles to see our friends who also both paid for their pitches. We prefer it this way 😃 Trev
4 seasons in 1 vlog! 🤣🤣 I loved your tour round the site and it has really got me thinking and reflecting. David and I talked about it and we have both realised something tonight - sites don’t necessarily change but our views, opinions, needs abs priorities do. When I look at the sites we took Jess to at first the priority was playgrounds then swimming pools which quickly turned into being seen with us was not cool. The sites haven’t changed we have. I am so sorry but still chuckling at how many people it takes to put up one awning 🤣🤣🤣
Haha yes, spot on Rachel. Our needs are constantly changing. Now we have a van our choice is different to when we had a caravan. I always say “there’s no right or wrong, just different”. Have a good Easter 🐣 Trev
It was a cold wind too. I got lazy and filmed some of this on my iPhone so the sound was poor 🙁 I regret it when I was editing 😉 lesson learned 👍🏻🚐 Trev
Totally agree. We paid £35 per night and I said to Sue my upper limit would be £40 for a couple. I have no idea how large families manage to stay there with children etc. We could never afford it when ours were younger 🙂 Trev
