We have one of those tulip trees across the creek there so pretty. The town reminds me of 14th st west in Huntington wv where I use to live there was a bunch of antique shops and stuff
Wow!! I have that same green bean tree that you have. I had never seen one before I moved in my house even though they are native to the south. We call it a Indian bean tree. I hate them in the fall bc they get everywhere..I have never been to VA. but always wanted to. It is a cute lil town.
The lady says, " backwoods everything", "there's nothing here". So how far do you have to go for medical care, a hospital, and the conveniences that larger towns usually have?
Mark's house is beautiful, but it really feels like inside it the time has stopped and there is something that is trapped there... Quite spooky vibes...
Hello I am looking at moving to this area Bristol & around lots of great old cottages ! Couple ? Would you say gate city is growing? My daughter cannot drive seems walkable ?
@sally lamore I wouldn't move to Bristol as I've heard there is a landfill issue and it stinks. Gate city is a beautiful place and has alot of potential. There are alot of properties for sale and lots of space for new business owners.
@@thehiddenshaman4371 when I say downtown was bare of cars I knew something was wrong .it looks like they ran all the businesses out as well that must be from taxes as well ?can me and my wife co tact you through her face book account to ask questions and stuff ?
Thank you for the video. Just curious, would you really stay in your town if you became a millionaire? What would keep you there? The reason I ask is I’m looking to move south from rural Upstate NewYork. I love small towns.
@CBN 72 I love being able to be in the middle of nowhere within minutes. I love seeing the same faces and getting to know random people. Feeling safe, the history and so much more. Plus I love being in nature and living in the mountains is so beautiful.
@@thehiddenshaman4371 thank you very much! Those are the same things that I find important in life. Nature, privacy, safety, and Seclusion. You really helped me make my decision.
@Amina Lina not very diverse and full of actual racist people who are racist behind your back. The people are backwoods and most have never left the area. The woods are great though
@@thehiddenshaman4371 Awee yah that's No good , I was feeling hopeful cause I seen the house rates were low and affordable there but my family are of multicultural and need to be safe and diverse places ,Im in California where its definitely Diverse but also sadly & Immensely Expensive .
@@aminalina1228 I would say try West Virginia closer to the Ohio & Pennsylvania border. I do travel nursing & the people treated good out there. Small cities in West Virginia like Sistersville, Vienna, Clarksburg, Wheeling, & Parkersburg, West Virginia. Or you can try Marietta Ohio & the surrounding cities in Ohio or Pittsburgh, PA & the other cities in Pennsylvania.
@@thehiddenshaman4371 , Thanks, I'd like to check out the houses ya had in Mind. Right now I am in Wisconsin. I was thinking about buying about 20 Acres minimum hopefully with a Fixer upper house in the area around where you are. I have lived in 2 mobile homes since 2013 and mobile homes are a nightmare especially in Wisconsin winters. Do ya get much snow around there?
