Awesome! No need to push the volume on this one, the overall soundscape is so well adjusted, one can hear the whole thing at subtle low volume. (I'm secretly increasing it of course)
Yeah, I actually did. It’s probably taken about 8 years to get the rig to this point. Over the last few months I’ve bought a few upgrades for it, but otherwise haven’t spent anything on it for about 2 years prior. Over the course of the last 8 years, most of it has actually appreciated in value. For example, I bought the DFAMs for about A$700 each brand new. They now sell for about A$1250. Even if I broke my rig into pieces tomorrow and sold it off, I'm still going to be up financially. Then add in the fact I’ve been earning regular money from playing this sheet at various gigs/festivals etc, add on top of that the income from my now monetized RU-vid channel. That alone has paid off about half of the cost of the rig at this point. I'll probably have broken even in another 12 to 18 months (and could still sell the rig off, and be up quite a bit). Compare that to the depreciation experienced by a hard core gamer - a top of the range gaming PC today, will be worth peanuts in a few years time. The depreciation on a brand new Tesla make even gaming PC's look pretty good. So you know, thanks for the concern over my finances, but for me personally, paying money for something that generates income, whilst at the same time appreciating in value, is not really something that I have nightmares over tbh. Anyhow, all the best! Lots of love, Rob 🙏
