I feel like he made a mistake on the q&a. As he undoubtedly knows, the Japanese didn't consider a naval blockade of BURMA. But they were already blockading China's coast with a naval blockade. Japanese policy was to blockade the port's China was using whenever possible and actually physically occupy them when they could.

He did say that there is nothing a airborne or commado can do that a properly trained Infantry should not be able to do. Refering to the Chindits they where not practible and a wate of resources and he was right recuperation time over 6 months.
