Hey Daniel, When buying a PlayStation plus, do you need to buy a gift card with a code in it or buy dollars and then buy the PlayStation plus? I haven't bought a PlayStation plus for 2+ years and I'm kinda confuse at the moment. Please help!
@@YoogakiHi, you can either buy Plus Redeem codes, or pay with your account and balance if you have, either way, it's easy to follow from PS store, nothing much to be worried about, I usually buy Gift Codes the physical ones from the store as they are cheaper haha.
@@DanielZH Could you explain the settings for the Sony dual sense edge joypad related to the FORTNITE game? Thank you, I look forward to hearing from you
@@Spettro1787Hi, I haven't played Fortnite much, that's why I didn't make a video yet, but soon I'm about to try Zero build for a little while to get how it works and make in depth video for it.
Using precise atm on Fortnite. But I’ve tried them all with multiple combinations. Don’t sleep on the left stick curves. Tweaking it can take your game exactly where you want it! 💯
@@DanielZH you would have very good Fortnite settings on the PS5 edge controller for rapid movement and for the right stick for precision and fluidity of movement please ?
The research, testing, explanations and overall work you put into your videos is what I’ve always looked for when it comes to these type of videos. Came from your ps5 NAT type videos and COD audio videos.
actually i found that linear curve in apex legends and cod mw2 are slightly different. linear in mw2 has an aim acceleration while apex legends provides perfect 'linear' curve. so it is hard for controller users to make universal muscle memory😢
DUDE, I haven't even watched this yet but I just want to say; thank you!!! thank you!!! thank you!!! thank you!!! I hppe I'm able to finally dial in my dual sense edge so it plays nice with MW2!
Can you make a video on the best settings for apex on 120hz ps5? Both Edge controller and graphics. I feel like you had a apex video on settings on the Edge a while back, but I can not find it.
Hello my friend, my dualsense got a horrible stick drift yesterday so I went to the store and got myself the Edge version. I thought there's something wrong with the X button because it is loose and rattly but turns out its normal so I will have to get used to it. I love the weight of it, your tips are great! I went 41/12 in Cod Cold War after getting used to the back buttons. The price in my country was around $300 so super expensive but at least it feels and plays great. If the thumb sticks werent replaceable I wouldn't buy it for sure. Keep the great content & tips for Edge coming!
Very informative! I bought the dual sense edge when it first came out and now I realize I might need to adjust a lot of my settings thanks (subscribing)
steady -5 feels really good and natural to me, coming from Xbox Controllers the PS 5 Edge always felt kinda weird and inconsistent, thanks to your video my aim is back to normal :D
Hey ZH is Alive! I'm a linear player and I found your advice on the slope scale with a 0.31 much better. I'm also a edge user. We'll I can't remember if it was this video or another one of yours where you used Quick +2 I think for MW2. I tried it combine for mw3 and to me felt to quick or maybe just jittery so I wonder if I try quick -5 to keep it linear as much as possible would help. I'd like your as others opinion on weather I should use precise-3. Also your videos are incredible and super well explained!
Hi thanks, I'm not a Fortnite player so I can't recommend much, but for the left stick, if you want to get to max walking speed faster, Quick +5 is good!
I would really like a deep dive on Apex Legends settings. I’m a close/medium type player and would really like to dial in my aiming as good as possible.
Hi, thanks for the info! I'm planning to make in depth tutorial for each game, but need to play them to reach to a point where I'm not as noob, so then I can recommend things! but stay tuned, they will come!
I’m using Dynamic in game, 8-8 sensitivity and 1.00 ADS. What’s your recommendation for edge sensitivity. Right now I’m using left stick default, right stick quick (+1)
Hi, that's a good one, I'm using Quick +2 but ADS on 0.7 with sensitivity at 10, yet feel free to use what you like and try differnet combinations to see which feels better to you.
Hi, just found your channel yesterday and appreciate all your effort!! I’m new to the PS5 after a good amount of yrs on the ps4. Love everything besides the controller, since for me personally the sticks are way too "flexible" if that makes sense? Like I feel like they move too much compared to the DualShock 4. So I consider buying a dualsense edge bc of your videos. My question is, is there a way to work around my problem with all those settings that the edge offers? Thx so much in advance!!
Hi, Welcome aboard! if you mean the sticks are more senstive even to smaller amount of movements, well, with Edge curves you can change that, however, most games also offer exponential mode for Stick Curves, but in some cases which they don't Edge could be a solution, in terms of how it feels compared to Dualsense, it's the same, but you have choices to use other thumb caps and curves so overall its more flexible.
Wow thanks for the thorough reply!! Sorry to ask such silly question lol, but with thumb caps you mean the physical things that you can attach on the sticks right?
My Problem is the Thumbsticks just feel way too stiff over the regular controller my Aim and movement have been drastically affected by this and I am not playing the same In Call Of Duty as I usually do. Is anyone else having problems with this aswell?
Basically The sticks are “POTENTIOMETERS” they are designed to make gradually speeds from 0- 100 (example) but COD specifically designed DYNAMIC CURVE TYPE that make work the sticks (potentiometers) work in the inverse way for what they was designed. From that point start the problems with aiming and many problems about movement and what you talk about transition
@@mertcanbarak5040 the deadzone is the same as far as I tested, and the default curve has similar output to normal Dualsense, the only difference is the linear curve that is presented is a bit faster than typical Dualsense (at least it feels like that)
Hey what settings do you run on Fortnite and do they have the option like you explained in this video to run linear and change it from there on the edge ? Thanks bro good video
Hey buddy first thanks for the video , really great job. Now my question :) If I play warzone ingame settings on dynamic what should I do take on the controller also dynamic oder better precise ?
Hi, thanks, if you want it to stay dynamic, keep the console on default, if you want the dynamic to be a little more relax, you can use precise, I do that with -2 and goes well.
Hello!!! Great vid! I wanted to ask… I want to use the “Dynamic Curve” that is available in CoD MW2 2022 for older CoDs that do not have a setting for curve type. I dont know if the curve type for older cods is linear. What settings shoul I use for my controller to replicate the feeling of the Dynamic Curve type in newer CoDs? Thank You!
Hi, the older ones are usually standard which is a bit exponential (getting faster slowly), unfortunately, Edge doesn't have a curve similar to Dynamic (making the first part faster) so the only thing that may be similar is steady on 0 (still not similar to dynamic as that is a reversed S curve in COD.)
Hey Daniel - can you please help…. I have set up my edge left stick 0 default and right stick -2 precision and dynamic in game. My aim has completely gone - do you have any recommendations or fixes please 🙏🏽
Hi, it's very hard to recommend as everyone has different settings they've got used to, you can join our discord server and there are other people who share their settings to see if that helps.
I just bought this controller yesterday cos of yur videos. All I can say is that it gets some getting used to. My muscle memory finds it daunting to press the back buttons while shooting in Warzone
Hi! I agree, I needed some time to get used to it and to not take my finger off the right stick, but once you get used to it, its much harder to play with a normal DualSense IMO!
I found it easier to transition to the edge back paddles is to set them as something easy at 1st like dodge and reload just to get used to using them, then you can charge it once you get comfortable
@DanielZH I tried playing with my original dualsense the other day when my edge died and it was horrible, I've gotten so used to the edge now I kept finding myself trying to squeeze the paddles then dying lol
@@bkrazey9999 I play COD Warzone I think ur advice won’t work cos I don’t reload while shooting, back buttons is to jump or prone while shooting, so I can get less damage. I need to learn all at once, I also changed the left stick to the tall and round one and I reduced the R2 with the switch Thanks for the advice btw, I really appreciate
I use this controller on PC. So I need an actual PlayStation 5 to change the stick response curve settings? You can’t do this with any of the DSX DS4, etc. programs?
@@DanielZH i m late but that is a really good question from the OP. Is the deadzone then 5 or 7...or 12 ? it would be very interesting to know it.. Personally i think its 5+7
Nice upload....cuz it took me several days tweaking all settings to find what I like just right... Sensitivity 6/6 ads multi. .95 right stick precise -2 left stick quick -1 😎. Definitely loving it this dual sense edge
Please try the precision dualsense curve with the linear aim response curve (0 slope) in MW3 and xdefiant. I feel like im getting so much more aim assist for some reason
What are the best settings for warzone / resurgence?? I’ve got the dual edge sense arriving today. Need all the help I can get. Any recommendations on the paddles - what is best to swap to them
Hi, I found half dome better for not doing accidental presses but lever shape works better with my hands, you really need to test for a while, personally I put X O ⬜🔺 to back buttons depending on what game I play and which is used the most, so this way I can keep the camera. You can check more edge tutorials here: ru-vid.com/group/PLfzrQ3H5ECSbtNfbSDgDDP4Y9zLuwDvUw
i have this controller since release day and i never used the stick sensitivity stuff I only use the controller for its back buttons but watching this ima start experimenting now
Hi, same I mostly used back buttons but in some cases stick curves could be really helpful especially if a game doesn't have much to offer like Armored Core 6 or left stick settings.
This is why controller needs universal settings. There's so much variation in settings. Going from Apex to Halo Infinite is terrible. Legacy CoDs are alright but it's aim acceleration is weird since you can push the stick half way hold in that position for a few seconds and then it picks up speed for no reason. This is why aim assist is needed because you can't even build muscle memory correctly lol
I agree, this is a mess to adjust for every game in most cases and to remember it, if there was an option to opt-out or shows you the results of both game + Edge curve after adjustment it was much easier to understand.
Those affect the way everything works TBH, so you may need to change stuff and sensitivity after using a longer Thumb Cap or differnt ones, I should make a video on those too!
So on Call of duty. I only want to use Dynamic in game. It’s should have my sticks set to default ? Which I do. But it feels different compared to a normal ps5 controller???
Your video are very interresting. I find that wooting software (wooting he 60) tweak also curve for any controller and maybe also input lag!? (Pc player)
I play call of duty with the edge… at random times my right stick starts to go haywire with me not being able to control the aim or change direction smoothly. This goes in and out for about a minute then I’ll be able to use the right stick normally again. After a few minutes it happens again with right stick going haywire. I bought 3 controllers and have the same problem so it’s not stick drift because it happened with all 3 controllers within the first day or two of use… Do you know what can be causing this? I cannot enjoy the game like this. This makes me think the controller isn’t good at all
Hey! So i like dynamic in call of duty and i dont wanna mess with the control settings so i leave the sensitivity curve on default on the controller if i like dynamic on the game?
is MW3 already out? we're 9 days away, right? I'd cover the MW3 settings in new videos. here's 1 video that covered Beta: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-ttg4z_-M5kU.html
@@DanielZH I just figured you played the beta as I did as well. I guess there can be major changes but I don't bank on it lol Thanks for the recommendation
Hello not sure if you will see this - i use default ps5 with dynamic curve in call of duty, how would I mimic the call of duty dynamic curve on apex legends while using the edge?
Hi, trying to simulate dynamic in apex you'll need a reversed S curve, here you can see how dynamic looks on my new video but for simulation in apex I'm not sure if there are enough options for that: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-smRW5VfpPbE.htmlsi=jmfiPGvuQtpwlCg-&t=270
i have a question? so on modern warfare two i just picked up the dualsense edge the only problem I have is being inaccurate like aiming wise. i watched a couple of your videos and tried to see if that would work but it didnt, in this video you said to keep the console deadzone on zero, and in game for my right stick it is set on 0.3 deadzone and ever since using the edge controller i felt like i missed almost every shot when the other player was moving, so i went into the console deadzone and matched it with game deadzone and personally me it felt a little better. so if the curve types matter with console and game curve type wouldnt that mean deadzone too?
Hi, your question is complicated to answer, but to make it simple, if you change the console Deadzone, the curves become harsher both from the game and console as there's less space for the movement, if that helps you in some specific game and combination, feel free to use it and experiment.
God strike me dead if I’m lying but when you said I heard you I was exactly at that moment thinking about can I change dead zone accurately I hear you can buy 3rd party rubber resistant thing that go under the thumb sticks to add small tension for more accurate aiming for fps.
Rainbow has a little AA, you can check my recommended settings on this video but soon a dedicated video too: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-ttg4z_-M5kU.html
Estou jogando no Warzone2.0 e combino dinâmico (no jogo) + precisão (no Edge). Te falar, a mira de longe tá perfeita. Agora de perto não tenho tanta mobilidade com a mira. Estou pensando em criar outra configuração para quando me aproximar dos inimigos para não passar sufoco.
Hello, I’m using Dynamic currently in game (Call of duty), 6-6 sensitivity and 0.60 ADS. What’s your recommendation for edge sensitivity please ? I am an aggressive player, i want to be able to snap onto targets close range but also keep aim and recoil steady long range ? Thank you
Hi, if you're ok with the game settings, I'd say keep it with that, but if you have a specific issue like in close or long range, tell me in Discord and I'll help you with edge curves.
@@DanielZH hello, thank you for the reply, I am happy with the game settings but I want to know what you recommend for the edge curve, something that will be good for both close and long range? , I don’t have discord by the way. Thank you
I use Dynamic + Gradual + Quick (+2) Sensitivity at 9-10 and ADS at 0.7+. you're free to test other settings, this is my choice as I'm used to it and I use different thumb sticks that are longer than normal one for COD.
Now just imagine if only someone made an AI that can sense your play style and adjust the settings to best fit you in every game and console so we can all get the best settings that fit us
Cool idea! Now imagine if there was an override option to override every game settings with edge and including everything on that menu so we could get the same results in every game!

Unfortunately Sony only provided it for Dualsense edge, I'm not sure if it was possible but I think they could provide it for normal Dualsense, but they decided to not do it.
@@DanielZH DS4 software does the same thing so it is possible. Again they just chose to make it exclusive as a selling point for their high end controller version.
Hi. Have you noticed that dualsense edge face buttons( x, triangle, square and circle) are way more loose than normal dualsense buttons. I bought mine yesterday and noticed that especially the x button is so loose and mushy. Googled this and this is a problem alot of people have.
Hi, yes it has been like that in 3 controllers I tested and X is especially softer, but there's no problem in functioning overall, it might be due to the design and the material being used for those buttons.
I love these videos, amazing work and research, but this is mind melting to me, i need to know this stuff but my brain just doesn't work 😂 oh bring me back 20 years to the easy good old days 😂 the one thing i loved now requires a degree to understand 😂
Thanks haha, yeah it's mostly because they don't use 1 setting to apply for all games and controllers! I'll try to explain them easier in newer videos 😄
@@DanielZH no dude, you explain everything in perfect detail, you cannot do any better, I meant when I was younger, it was basically plug and play. Hello mate, I have a problem with my right analog stick, it no longer reacts as it should, but you have to turn the stick in the direction you want to look in the desired direction in Call of Duty 3 but when I play Call of Duty Coldwar is all OK pls help me 😢
Depending on the game, I would mostly change the left stick, and most sports games don't have a left stick curve setting, so yeah, anything you see works on the game.
I play a lot of rainbow6 siege and I don’t know which settings is the setting to delay (curve adjustment) on my right stick and what # to put it on plus I’m still getting used to this edge controller
thanks for your reply, I play competitive warzone, I tried the native connection by updating the firmware and setting it from PS5, then I tried Ds4 Windows emulating an Xbox pad which is more compatible, I installed all the drivers as vigembus, in both cases Windows 10 detects the controller as an audio device, dualsens sense edge speaker and the microphone of my headphones does not work, the edge microphone works, the pad works but by emulating the pad with ds4 input Xbox sometimes becomes responsive enough to have to lower the dead zone because it is snappy and sometimes the sticks become hard and unresponsive. every time I attack the pad I seem to have a different sensitivity I don't understand. the only thing I noticed is that when the pad works correctly the audio sounds much louder and perfectly.
Hi, it's coming soon with MW3 for the series, for now, here's a video of Rapid-Fire Settings and R2 ranges if you like: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-ttg4z_-M5kU.html
Hey man thanks for the video! I hope this helps me fix my issues i was having in mw3! I had it on precise on on r stick curve. And no matter wha settings i put it on i was having issues. Abd then go back default i can slay a lobby again. Its been bugging. I can get 1 shot off and then boom go to aim at the second person next to the guy i killed. It starts tweaking out aiming every witch way.
Hi, there are actually 2 reasons for it and also that's one of the reasons people complain about right stick feeling different in edge and they're being more accurate on Dualsense which I talked about it and tested it for the coming video, it'll be released in less than 2 day with a thumbnail that says: "BAD" I'll recommend you to wait and check on that video for right stick and the possible solutions I mentioned for Edge right stick!
Hi, If you mean showing you my settings, you can send a message in discord server and I send a screenshot of my settings, but they may not be good for everyone.
I play a lot of Destiny 2, and it has such a huge range of moves, recoil, ads, aim assist, movements, etc... I'm having a hard time dialing in for an actual improvement. This is the exact video ive been waiting for, just need a little more help dialing in
Hi, Yes it takes sometime to find a working setting depending on the game once you understand how each option works, but after a while it becomes easier to decide.
@@bkrazey9999Yes, the point of this video was to show how they work + Combine with a game, but you mostly have to guess what it is going to be, however, I didn't cover what the curve is Vs. when it's on linear physically, I'll make a quick video for that one. thanks.
@DanielZH like I understand it changes movement and accuracy/control, but how does it reflect in game. I know you technically showed that, but I'm looking for a more in depth explanation
