Sorry Matts not well. It is good to see you just getting out about fish and showing us your tanks MD. There's been a lot of changes and builds going on and its nice to get back to just you chunnering / waffling on.

Meeting you and Matt was right at the top of my fish-world bucket list and you did not disappoint! Thanks for taking time to talk with all of us. Ugh. Ich. About to leave on vacation is the exact time mine will have an outbreak too. Lost a handful of croaking gourami once to it because I could only do the first treatment before we left.

I just built a 6 gallon betta tank using nothing but API products and your methods. The heater that came with the tank is too big for it 😂. It will work for now, but I see a bigger build in my future. Between you and Matt, I have learned so much a out fish keeping, a hobby I gave up on long ago. Keep up the amazing work you do!

I haven't watched too much since you moved into the new studio. One thing I immediately notice is the setups you have here are really well designed in terms of the hardscape layout and plant layout. Your tanks are refined in this sense where mine are a little more chaotic. Nice work MD, hoping to match your level one day.

I had 2 angels in a 20 gallon tank with a pair of swordtails that were popping out a lot of babies. The Angels got so big and shiny because they were eating the babies. When I say big, I mean hand size. They were beautiful.

Electric Blue Acara are notorious for Stress Ick, they normally bounce back really fast though, gravel vacuuming will normally help get most of the Ick out that has fallen off. Get well soon Matt!

I commented when you set the Mbuna tank up that I've kept plants with them before as well. Cabomba, Ludwiga broad leaf, Val, and Dwarf. Sagittaria.. obviously we all know you can do Anubis n other plants that don't get planted but don't be scared to try things.

A couple weeks ago the archer fish were shown on planet earth 3.

I built a Mbuna tank as my first tank after watching your build. I definitely have so much fun with these fishes. They are fun and they are already breeding (tank is 3mo old). In no time I would be grandfather! LOLLOL

Father Fish’s method of putting it at 87 degree Fahrenheit for 3-4 days worked perfectly for me.

Next time you'll have to bring Babes with you and take an extra few days to do some sight seeing. You could go to New Orleans for a historic tour or a ghost tour either one would be fun. Or go to L.A. and take a Hollywood stars tour. Or go to Arizona and see the Grand Canyon It just depends on where you are really. But there's sure to be something fantastic to see and visit.

Your tanks are so beautiful!!! I would also be interested in seeing which fish are breeding in your tanks. I have a tank with some Bristlenose, Neon tetras and Ram Cichlids and want to experiment with breeding them.

I have a few cichlids and jack Dempsey fish, easy to keep and amazing colours on then. Please get some jack Dempsey fish, you'll love them.

Great video as always my question is what product do you use to treat ick??

Your issue with ulcers I kept loaches in a community tank and found that the loaches were hanging off the side of some fish and damaging them. Had to remove the loaches in the end and no more issues with damage. Love the Chanel btw

I love API products not only do they work well but for me it’s also supporting a local company as they are located literally right up the street from where I live in Pennsylvania
