I'd say to try your best and plan ahead! It's hard though because I used to stress out if I was doing other things like going to gym or seeing friends instead of doing uni work. In reality, spending time doing things you like actually helps you relax and focus more when you need to. :)

You have to find out what works for you. It is totally possible to do all those things and still be successful in medical school and residency. All things in moderation. Of course you cannot go out all the time or live at the gym; but setting a schedule to exercise and see family and friends is possible and more so needed to set the tone for how you are going to function once training is done. During medical school and residency/fellowship I exercised three times a week and made time for family and friends (built into study schedule). I made it a rule to never study while I ate...that was my time to relax. I woke up early to exercise and still do now that I’m in practice. It it important that you make time for things that make you happy. Life cannot be all Medicine. If you make it all about medicine you will burn out. Best of luck!

I definitely would recommend UCL for your elective, but I'm afraid because I start clinical years in Sept I'm not too familiar with all the hospitals yet!

I have the iPad (2018) and I use OneNote. I just posted a video talking about it and some other things I did to revise so you could check it out !

@@AlphieYipr u studying on self finance or getting loan ? Actually I am EU national and I want to study at UCL but I've heard that London is quite expensive so my alternative choice is Manchester uni which I don' t like at all...

@@MuhammadAli-vk1ij if he's international, the likelihood is that he's paying for tuition himself. If you are an EU national that's been in the UK legally for three years then you are entitled to student finance. That might all change with brexit but you can just check the student finance England (assuming that you live in and will be studying in England) website to see if there are any changes and how they'll affect you
