Fun fact about the whole "fruit instead of a vegetable" thing. Vegetables are a culinary categories but botanically speaking there is no such thing as a vegetable. So "pumpkin in a fruit" is a correct statement but "pumpkin isn't a vegetable" is wrong.
@@__x.__ that would only be botanically speaking. Saying that would imply that you are speaking from a culinary perspective. Or at least that’s what I understood
@@__x.__ vegetables are a thing obviously... in the kitchen. It's just not a category that makes sense from a botanical point of view. Any part of a plant can be a vegetable: fruit, stem, root, leaves, flowers...
def savoury pumpkin dishes for me but also i love millet porridge with pumpkin, my mum always makes that! and i laughed at the "convince the garlic" moment lmao
I definitely like savory dishes the most. I’m a lactose intolerant vegetarian and I often tend to eat more vegan food because of that. 🥺💖 I really liked your recipes.
made it until the end :) I think I am a savory pumpkin kind of person as well. Everything can easily be made sweet, but the combination of sweet pumkin and salt is priceless.
There are so many pumpkins in all the nearby stores, now have the recipes to utilise them into scrummy yumminess! :D Pumpkin times ahead!! Thankyou, these were desperately needed. Wonderful watch! Thankyou :)
My boyfriend's dad gave me two little pumpkins from his garden, so I am excited to say that I am finally going to make homemade pumpkin puree to try the pumpkin bread as it looks delicious! I'm definitely a savory pumpkin enjoyer ;) I recently discovered your channel and I find your videos super calming and the recipes are creative and doable. Have a lovely evening
I’m an American living in Italy and one thing I do miss sometimes are the seasonal drinks from Starbucks. I just made the pumpkin chai for myself and my Italian boyfriend and we loved it- thank you for sharing! 💛💛
@@zselykeszabo6843 haha well in Rome at least, they have very strict rules about their coffee! 😉 But in Milan there is a Starbucks so maybe they have pumpkin flavors there .. I've never seen it here!
Just tried the pumkin bread recipe with dark chocolate instead of the roasted almonds. I‘m officially in love with this! It tastes like christmas and fall all together i‘m literally so addicted rn omg
Mina I swear I have like four cups of pumpkin puree in my fridge and didn’t know what to do with it. Well now I know how I’m going to spend my Monday morning. Everything looks amazing
I made a pumpkin pie once completely from scratch including baking the pumpkin and making purée. It was the most delicious ever! This video reminded me of how good it was and inspired me to make some more, especially for the pumpkin spice latte! Watched the whole video and really enjoyed it🥰 I’m a savory AND a sweet pumpkin lover 🙌🏾
Watching this video while having a bit of the delicious pumpkin brownies I made from your pumpkin/halloween video last year 😋 once again some amazing recipes I'm definitely going to try!
I’ve only started watching your videos yesterday but since then I have been so much more inspired to cook! Day two and I am already eating healthier and I actually get excited about cooking.
I am more of a savoury pumpkin person, but me and my flatmate made pumpkin pie together last week (first pumpkin pie I’ve had) and that’s was pretty good ☺️
I’m not vegan but I sure love all of this recipes! This will help me to incorporate a lot of healthier plant based meals in my menus, thank you so much for that
normally, I have a sweet tooth but concerning pumpkin: savoury all the way! But who am I kidding, everything with pumpkin in it is great 🤤 Außerdem: liebs, dass du auch Mirellas Love Island-Videos beim Kochen schaust 😂
I'm a sweet everything, so also with pumpkin! But I must say, pumpkin quiche makes the exception! Just blend pumpkin puree with tofu and a bunch of spices, add precooked veggies of choice and dump on puff pastry! Soo yumm
I found your channel today, and I am in love! I'm always searching for health, tasty meals to make and you have a great variety of things that don't look too complicated to make. I am grateful! 🙏
Mmm interesting pumpkin recipe, and at the same time it looks very tasty, I think many people will like it. Well done for this wonderful idea, just keep going!
Right on time, Mina, thank you!!!! I´ve just bought a pumpkin a it´s way too much. I love savoury pumpkin dishes, I don´t think I´ve ever eaten sweet pumpkin, but the white chocolate baked oats look amazing!
Definitely a savory pumpkin person here. Mostly Butternut and Spaghetti Squash. It's always nice to see the variety and creativity you put into recipes. In case you ever wanna do a Berlin Cooking Meetup, let me know :)
Savoury here 👋 By the way, save the seeds when preparing squash/pumpkin. Toss them in a small amount of oil and some garlic salt/granules and some smoked paprika. Toast them on a baking sheet in the oven for about 7 to 10 minutes at 150 Celsius. Delicious as a snack or sprinkled on soups, salads etc.
I've been following and looking forward to each of your new videos! I love how unique your recipes are, and how you seem to do a lot of improv depending on what you feel like in the moment, which is very similar to how I cook. It just feels very natural and spontaneous! :)
hmm, used to be more of a sweet pumpkin things person but now I've made more savory ones and I'm enjoying them so much!! I wanna try the first recipe so bad tho
Definitely a savory pumpkin lover. Wait, but I DO love your pumpkin brownies. And the almond pumpkin bread looks insalnely delicious. Def the hardest question I have asked myself too
Everything looked delicious. I am a sweet pumpkin person. Tomorrow will be a good day for me to make something pumpkin as well. There is an ice storm going through my area. It will make the house smell so wonderful.
I would say traditionally I’m a sweet pumpkin person. I made the best pumpkin cinnamon buns by Maddie Lymburner on RU-vid recently and yumm😋. However I’m not totally sure because I haven’t had a ton of savory pumpkin dishes and all of these look great so I’ll be sure to give them a try!
Hi! I really can’t decide wether I am a sweet oder savory pumpkin kind of person, but I recently made really delicious pumkin cinnamon rolls! Btw love your videos , Jemima
Of course I made it to the end!! Tough call on the sweet or savoury. But I might have to say sweet because my mom’s pumpkin cake is my favourite dessert ever 🥰
I am a both types of pumpkin/squash person but I think I prefer savory more of the time and it’s more impressive when people can think up many good savory pumpkin recipes
