A week of intense fighting in which 1000 tanks were destroyed : Battle of Brody

The battle was fought between 750 German tanks and 3,500 Soviet tanks.

New models of Soviet tanks, such as the T-34, were even more powerful than German tanks.
In addition, the Soviet army had an overwhelming numerical advantage, but the result was the defeat of the Soviet army.
Due to Stalin's decision to ignore the German threat several times, many fighter jets and bombers were destroyed by the German air force on the ground.
Furthermore, the German army, which succeeded in several operations, was superior to the Soviet army.
For this reason, the Germans lost about 200 tanks in a week's battle, but the Soviets lost about 1,000 tanks and failed to stop the German advance.
