This blue is so pretty. I too, prefer the subtle formula. Bright glitter shades do make gorgeous liners, so hopefully you’ll film (or post) that look so we can all live vicariously through you!
Five years ago I would have had a panic attack seeing that blue eyeshadow, but now I'm more familiar with blue eyeshadows, and know they're not all the same. A blue eyeshadow with a purple shift that I received so many compliments changed my mind about blue eyeshadow! Hopefully, it will change yours as well. You look so good in blue eyeshadow, but you have to feel comfortable with it,and wear it with confidence, that's what makes blue eyeshadow brilliant.
Hahah oh I feel comfortable all right. It's just that I wore these sort of looks for many years and I have been into my neutral era lately. Blue can have some many different undertones...one can always find one that works.
Really loving the way you are doing looks with this palette. I dont have subversive and was thinking the blue shade might be similar. Also i have 4 mothership palettes from pat 5, 9,10, 11. I so want the mothership 6 palette for the orangey shades and astral solstice. If you can please do compare mothership 6 with this palette.
Happy to hear you are enjoying my approach. Mothership 6 is an amazing palette. Given the choice, I would not hesitate to get it over the mega even if I think Luminous is a great palette...Midnight Sun is just better.
i am one of those people that is obsessed with blue eyeshadow so this definitely is my favorite look of the series so far😭😭🤩🤩 I literally will never not buy blue eyeshadow from PML to the point that it’s a problem and seeing this look just confirms it. now i just need her to release one (1) blue matte One Time PLEASE
I’ve been loving these looks & videos Miriam 😊❤ I haven’t been commenting but as I’ve said before; you & Alicia are my goto’s with anything PMG LABS … & I just received my mega palette & the green duo today & WOW 🤩😍 both are stunning ! Lastly I think the blue looks absolutely lovely on you ! 🥰 I’m saving these looks to recreate them 🎉😅
Thank you. I love a sparkly blue (80's girl 😂). Just approximately duped the look before bedtime (using 2 drugstore pallets and a topper from MS6). Might wear it for real, for an evening out. 😊 Best wishes.
Now I have to pull out Subversive again! I just received the new Danessa Myricks palette that I decided to get instead of Pat’s. I opened it and already may be having buyer’s remorse and need a dose of Pat goodness.
WAIIIT!!! Please pray tell, why remorse??? I have never tried them and I am always intrigued but I absolutely hate rainbow palettes....which all the Lightworks are.
@@mariam.a. I was expecting to see more shifts like with Pat’s original shifty shades or my Clionadh multi chromes . And some of the shades are really a heavy consistency. I think it’s going to be an ok palette but not “wow.” I swatched some shades later and did one eye look and don’t think my opinion will improve. Time will tell. But I think I need a hiatus from buying big palettes. I seem to do better with 6 pans or less. I got the Prada holiday palette and love it.
@@mariam.a. The metallics and satins are heavier, IMO. The sparkly transparent shades are probably what I like and will use the most. They are very dry feeling. I suggest you watch Ella Kinkley’s review. I think she’s honest about this palette and can describe it better than I can.
Well done. I wish there were more of the smoother formulas in this palette (like the one you used yesterday). Fun look though for night time perhaps, just not on my mature lids though. I ended up buying the Charlotte Tilbury beautyverse love palette (surprising as I’m not normally into anything CT) but I am really enjoying this one. The mattes alone make this palette but I am too enjoying the shimmers particularly the satin like two (last two). The Lancome palette has also got my attention, I like this years more than last year. Thanks Mariam.
@@DeliciaTrini It’s really good, and not just pink on pink. The third matte is more brown than pink with a lovely undertone. I’ve never experienced mattes like these. She needs to patent that formula pronto.
I ordered my pallet. I can’t wait to get it. I love that you are pretty much the only person on RU-vid, doing a whole week with this pallet. The look today was just fabulous! 👏🏾👏🏾
I love that look, I always struggle with blues and purples because I feel like it can just make me look sick 😂 I like to see how others use them and hopefully take ideas! Looking forward to seeing more!
I’m still waiting for my palette…but sometimes they don’t send out an email that their products have shipped, so I hope that’s the case. (But I don’t think I’ve seen anyone from the US that has gotten their order from the Pat website!) I loved this look and I am VERY impressed with how versatile it is!
Kiko has been using this cream-to-powder, panless formula for years, on par with Armani (also an Italian brand), so I don’t think Kiko copied PMG, as some of the comments I saw on Instagram suggested. Yes, the quint format and packaging are the same, but that reflects poorly on PMG rather than Kiko. When a luxury brand doesn’t invest in creating unique, custom packaging, they resort to using existing molds and forms that other brands, like Kiko, also have access to. When PMG invests enough in their packaging, we get products like the Mothership palettes, which are not as easily replicated.
I have never tried their palettes, they do also make gorgeous baked shadows. I didn't think KIKO were copying PML but I guess because of the timing and the similarity in packaging everyone jumped to conclusions. I am guessing the motherships don't sell too well, since we seemingly not even getting one this year. I will def pay attention to KIKO's palettes more now to see how often this formula appears.
