There's some bad food in Japan too, just try their fake European burger bars in Central Tokyo. The cheese is like plastic and burgers are plastic too. However the politeness of the Japanese make up for it .

If you like a Pizzaiola, you used to be able to get one at Subway, which was chicken bits, the Marina sauce from the meatballs and some pepperoni. it's not on the menu in most places anymore but they can still make it if you ask. Get the shredded cheese and some Jalapenos in there before toasting to make it perfect

My Mother-in-law gave us a packet of the pain au chocolate from Iceland. We were really impressed! Pastry was delicious and the same can be said for the frozen croissant 🥐.

I got frozen pain au chocolat, croissants & pretzels in Aldi and they’re amazing... so handy to have in the freezer to just pop in the oven when you fancy a snack😁

I used to love Iceland a few years ago they had the best food but now it’s not the best as what it used to be as they’ve discontinued a lot of their tasty items!! I used to love those potato and bacon crispies they’ve stopped those and the egg fried rice in the bag was always 10/10.

An air fryer could do the pain u chocolate in 10mins. Most if the over baked stuff would also cook in half the time. Like Grace,I felt the disappointment ,I can’t wait 45 mins for my tea .

I will never understand why anyone would get a microwave lasagna when you can make your own lasagna in just 20 more minutes.. You can even do all the prep in one pot.. And then you can freeze portions for later

I do agree that the extra effort is worth it, as a homemade one tastes vastly superior to a ready meal, sometimes one just can't be arsed, especially when it takes all your motivation just to walk into the kitchen and actually decide what to cook.

There is diced pepperoni in the meat sauce. Mike could have found this out by flipping the box over and reading the ingredients. I think he assumed pepperoni can only exist in slices.

That's a lot of money spent on junk. For people who are trying to lose weight or diabetic etc. There are healthier options like mix veg, rice and scallops. Eggs on toast for breakfast, fish steaks or chicken with wedges and mix veg for lunch 12£ or less this should last 2-3 days anyways.
