Frozen pasta... you cook in a microwave... I have no Italian heritage in me but my heart is still aching !

The first two looked like 80s school dinners.

In the states, stuff like that chicken pasta in a bag is pretty common! I buy the Bird’s Eye brand ones quite often, the sweet and sour chicken with rice is a favorite of mine.

Those are frozen nuggets of sauce that melt into sauce when you heat it up. It’s common with frozen pasta dishes.

Microwave pies (pot pies to be exact, usually with chicken, veggies, and a cream sauce inside) are a pretty common thing in the states. Though those come with a microwave safe pie tin that's paper inside and just has a thin metallic sorta foil inside to help keep the crust from getting all soft. They also often have a special box with similar metallic material that you microwave the whole thing in.

Microwaving anything with cream in tends to make it split. Whack that pasta in a pan!

I LOVE the chicken and bacon pasta... been having it for years ! I cook it on hob in a wok... you get more sauce that way. Just chuck the whole bag in for 2 people. I also take the mushrooms out as my girlfriend hates them. Add grated cheese 🧀🤪

That chicken pie didn’t look to bad,I’m partial to a particular brand of pie. Your pin collection was fabulous,can remember riding Nemesis when it was launched,got a key ring as a memento,wish I had got a pin. Wish you had put your sauce with breakfast. 😎😎

Pasta in a bag really isn't that out of the ordinary, we have them in steam pouches here. Great sides! I haven't seen it loose like that though.

Watching while I spring clean. The chicken and bacon pasta tastes a lot better when you cook it in a pan you get a lot more sauce out of it. The microwave dries it out.

The pasta in a bag have been a cheap dinner staple in the US for decades. Never seen microwave directions on them though. They were always marketed as "one pan meals in under 20 minutes".

The breakfast & lunch looked like school dinners 🤗

my trick for microwaved pies is if you have an air fryer put them in for like 5 mins after you microwave them it gets the pasty crispy.

Microwave chicken pies are a staple of my life tbh. Yeah, they're better in the oven, but the microwave does it just fine.

Take a drink every time he says 'microwave'. You're probably starting to feel the effects of the salt. Frozen food tries to compensate for the frozen after taste flavors by using lots of cheap salt. If you don't normally eat that much, it's probably a shock to your system.

I think the 14 minutes might have been for if you microwave the entire content :)

A lot of people crap on iceland, but a lot of things there are actually surprising. I really like those meals in a bag they are delicious for a frozen convenience food.

Microwave pies have been a thing in Aus as long as I can remember & I'm in my 40s.

They are called Badges in the UK, not bloody pins.
