When I saw the quesadilla with the gritty, unmelted cheese I immediately thought: Put it in your air-fryer! I'd like to see another air-fryer week, with improved recipes or items that could be improved by it. This quesadilla would surely profit from a nice bath in hot, whirly air...
Yup, this week on just reminds me as to why I absolutely refuse to eat Taco Bell, I think the only reason they are still alive in canada is because they share a building with KFC....why not try taco bell type recipes in the air fryer?
I liked that format for the day. Just one big feast with lots of produce to test in one fell swoop. I'm sorry it meant that you had to starve 'til dinner time though. Don't do that too often! ;)
I have to admit, Taco Bell is hands down my absolute favorite fast food place. I crave it every single damn day lol and there isn't one where I live. Thank you SO much for doing this Week of Taco Bell🙌
Supreme in the US is sour cream and tomatoes, not sure for the UK. Did I miss something, the big thing in the US is the burrito supreme and, in some cases, double meat.
While their burritos taste ok, I see them more as a small wrap. Try a burrito from a good chain like Tortilla. My god theirs no comparison, things about 8x thicker loaded with beans, veg, spiced rice and marinated pork or chicken with some proper hot sauce
when you look at how much is in it there is really not much in them for what you are paying its all the taco which is very cheap item you need to make your own food based on any item you can buy from a take away but also do it cheaper. should not be hard

Interesting that you picked so many things with soft shell, looks like a pack of wraps exploded on your desk :D I feel as though if they workers figured out how to wrap things and also the packaging better, that it would all look far more appetising. I also find they get things wrong more often than other places. Seems to be a uk wide issue.

Back in the 90s I knew a girl who worked at Taco Bell. She got written up by her district manager for telling a customer that the beef was 100% real beef. Apparently there is so little actual beef in their “beef” that it isn’t qualified to be called beef.
I remember a rumor that the boxes of meat at Taco Bell were marked "Grade E for Edible" but I worked there in high school and they did not say that. It said "Grade A" and it is real beef, but there are also oats in it as a filler.
