Thank you so much 😊 and to answer your questions: - The laundromat is not too far from where I live. - Yes, I am taking Korean classes online through Say Speaking. - My tennis instructor doesn't speak English and it is quite difficult to find a trainer/instructor who does. My recommendation would be when you get here and are ready to look for a physical activity to join, inquire in an expat Facebook group to related to where you live or in one of the major ones like Expat Women in Korea to see if anyone has any recommendations.

Hi! It personally hasn’t been too much of an issue for me. Especially since COVID hit I wear masks all the time now anyway. The most I’ve ever felt the affects of the pollution is occasionally waking up with a scratchy throat in the morning. However, with asthma it’s definitely something to look out for because it has been worse than usual lately. Unfortunately, I can’t give you too much insight about your condition and living here. I recommended searching the Teaching in Korea and Korea Reddit pages because I’m sure the question has been asked there. Or you can ask it in one of the various Facebook groups for expats in Korea. They’re always super helpful! I hope that helps 😊

Thank you so much! 😊 English teaching jobs are the easiest to come by here. Unfortunately, I don’t really have information about teaching other languages, but I know those jobs are quite rare.

I find the air quality to be similar between the two cities with Incheon sometimes being a little worse on some days. You get the best air quality the more south you go though. You honestly can't go wrong with any major city in Korea. I loved living in Daegu as well and Busan is one of my favorite cities.

It wasn’t too far at all and they have these self laundromats all over Korea. The price ranges vary but mine costs about 7,000-10,000won to wash and dry. As far as my bed sheets, my thinner ones fit in my washing machine, but my comforter doesn’t, so I end up just going to the laundromat for both anyway. Plus, it is sooo much quicker doing it that way. I get my laundry done within an hour and half going to the laundromat VS taking all day using my washer/dryer.

Incheon is great! However, I haven't really explored like I've wanted to due to Corona. However, for your case I would recommend Daegu or Busan as those cities have more teaching positions (if coming through EPIK) and a bigger expat community, so I highly recommend them for first time teachers! 😊

The first year is definitely overwhelming just because everything is new, but it definitely does get easier after the first year to the point where everything starts feeling normal and just like regular life.

Haha I’m so glad! And not usually. I have a washing machine in my apartment that I use, but if I ever want to do a big load and do it quickly I prefer to go to the laundromat where I have to pay. I don’t mind paying for the convenience 😊
