I live in Tijuana, two blocks from the La Glorieta taqueria and in my 43 years I have not had any problems, obviously if you get involved with bad people... as they say if you play with fire you will get burned, every country has insecurity problems Not only Mexico, my beloved Tijuana is humble, it welcomes everyone. but if you look for problems, you will find them, It's simple common sense AND BY THE WAY BIG FAN OF YOUR CHANNEL!

Exactly! If you don’t go looking for trouble then you won’t find any.

@@AuthenticTraveling thanks for your reply!!! I was there that day, I could say hello. but I didn't know you were here, we really like your videos (my wife and i), how you expose the food of my beautiful and beloved Mexico. I say to my wife, hey, check this out (watching one of your videos), and then I tell her, let's kill some tacos. grab your wallet🌮🌮🌮

i got an idea for you, for another video /// You should visit the neighborhoods (colonias) on foot, like a real Mexican, ask the people what Tijuana is really like.

I respectfully disagree about the title of the video. Some of the most dangerous cities in the Americas are in the U.S., actually. The crime, gun violence, homeless people roaming the streets everywhere, etc. have made our cities here in the U.S. some of the most unsafe cities in the world, literally. More countries should put travel warnings on the U.S.

tepito in mexico city is more dangerous and as a white gringo myself, i walked through it. tijuana is nothing. just be respectful and treat others how you would like to be treated. life will be okay.

I’m from San Diego and I go to Tijuana with my friends at least every once or twice a month it’s great and cheap, I was disappointed you didn’t go inside Hong Kong that would have gave you the real Tijuana experience 🍻

While I have deep respect for Mexicans and Mexican culture, the naïveté of Americans traveling to Tijuana is astounding to me.

I worked 24 years in Emeryvile CA which has been described as the most dangerous Ca city which I never believed since they always had good police staffing levels unlike Oakland..

Im not sure the bundled leaves were the kind of Salvia you guys are thinking. It could have been incense-sage. The psychoactive Salvia is called Salvia Divinorum, and is in Mexico, but probably confined to Oaxaca mostly. In Spanish, the common sage for incense is probably also called Salvia, as Salvia is the botanical genus name of many "sages".

Lmao I assume it’s just the incense kind

Be careful where you sleep, a buddy of mine has a story of when he went to Tijuana and and the first night he woke up to armed men in his bedroom, they taped his mouth and blinded folded him and ransomed him for as much money as they could before sunrise, you're a target, beware.
