Did this on my Vespa scooter. 125cc, some sixty years ago. Long before cine camera let alone digital. So just a distant memory. How fortunate you are to have a permanent memory. Wish you more trips in future.

I did get a cine camera in early 1970S. The film cost arounf £4 and only ran for some four minutes. Reusable video came later. @@davidmatthews3093

Like this video, it reminds me my 1st trip to the Normandie in 1981. I was massively impressed.

Good vid gents. I went to Rouen as a kid on a school trip and remember the cathedral, We were only 13/14 and was left to run riot around town. I guess the world was a different place in the 90's I'm planning to go back after lockdown and might do a similar route. I'm a big fan of Band of Brother's too.

Great video much respect to you for taking the time to visiting Normandie, more people should do this, a small gesture of gratitude for our freedom. I’ve done a fair bit in a car but I’m going to have to do it on a bike 🏍 now!

I totally respect the history of our UK forces 👏 However from a riding point of view I find Northern France roads like watching paint dry and a waste of time and fuel 🙄
