Apparently you like playing the Pokemon Transfer mini game on hard mode because that pink blob the passes through the screen makes your Pokemon fall asleep making them easier to catch.

The pink clouds help you out during the transfer minigame. It makes the Pokémon sleepy and not jump around for a bit

You might be able to erase the name, but you can't erase the memories - at least, that's how I see it. I got hooked on this series today, I've been working on two seperate dexes myself: a Kalosian living dex to legitimately obtain the Shiny Charm in ORAS/XY, and a HOME living dex, so seeing others' progress toward the goal is super compelling. Absolutely legendary content.

It’s crazy how if this video wasn’t made you couldn’t prove you caught all those Pokémon which is the truly tragic thing. Everyone else who had a so called “offensive” name will also be marked with Shiro* and every emotional attachment to their Pokémon will only be known to themselves

Just a heads up; you moved those two regions in to pokemon home at the same time and it automatically changed the name to something else but that's not a guarantee that it will change it to the same thing when you move other regions in. I know you want all the mons to have the same trainer name so you might end up with something different for the hoenn region or kalos. You've already started your next playthough but it's just something you should be prepared for.

I honestly like the transfer mini game, better (and probably quicker) than pal park But I do see the major flaw that it is terrible for mass transfer The transfer is likely designed with “I want to bring my favourite Pokemon/teams” in mind rather than those who want to transfer a whole living dex from gen 4 to gen 5

Shiro means white in Japanese. It’s because you transfered from Pokémon white

It’s amazing because with pkhex you can literally export all your boxes from one game to another in a matter of minutes. You can bring a FRLG living Dex to black/white, x/y whatever just like that

Wooow...Beaver...an animal species being banned as a name. They are REAAAALLY stretching that to extreme levels. I don't blame you at all for being pissed at that name error, really freaking dumb. But hey, at least you have your own living Pokedex and you remember all the blood, sweat and tears that was necessary to obtain that. Great job man! :)

You can actually transfer pokemon from gen 3 to 4 then up through the games. You need a ds gen 4 game and gen 3 game in the same ds. It will give you the option to migrate from whatever gba game is in. After you migrate, go to pal park and catch the pokemon. Enjoy!

Man I’m really picky about my original trainer name,the exact moves my Pokémon have, and sometimes even what level they are (like for some stupid reason my brain says legendaries and mythicals and pseudo legends need to be level 100) so I completely understand how devastating that is, how dare they try to erase the legend of Beaver

Since Nintendo announced the discontinuation of the 3DS eShop (and after seeing your initial Living Dex video) I decided to try and living Dex every gen beginning from 3 to 7 before March 2023 and send them to Home. (Why? Because this might be the only chance I'll ever have to do this). I completed FireRed, Leaf green, Ruby and near the end of Colosseum. After beating Emerald and XD I'll have my Gen 3 Living Dex and then continue from there. Good luck on your journey!

First: i never saw a person that was that bad with the poketransfer from gen 4 to 5 xD Second: i had it even harder. Living Dex with the following limitation: except for the mysterious pokemon (mew, celebi, etc.) all pokemon have to be from the games i first possessed from each region. that meant: for hoenn it had to be the gba games. With 3 gen 4 games with the pal park it was at least a little bit nicer. but still... i was only able to transfer 18 pokemon a day. Third: since my original diamond version got stolen by someone i had to play through platinum that i borrowed from a friend because gen 4 was locked on the ds games through i own selfmade rules for my living dex xD

I r always been someone who loves all the side games and activities in a Pokemon game... But transferring from Gen 4 to 5 was always a stupid decision on the devs part. That game is Soo tedious for someone just trying to move their Pokemon forward.

another thing that pisses me off is when u do transfer ur mons from hgss and DPP to BW and B2W2 is that it changes the date from when they were caught to the date they were transfered to the gen 5 games thankfully i have a homebrew 2ds with PKSM which i use not to cheat but keep the orginal dates i caught of pokemon from my older games it just sucks cuz pokemon bank doesnt do this neither does home i dont know why they made poke transfer do that,but man i feel u on how they stripped u of ur name if u have PKSM a homebrew app for all ds and 3ds pokemon games u can edit the mons OT name ik some ppl use it to cheat but i use it for alot of stuff like backing up my save cuz my HG game got corrupted 1 day idk how but when i opened it i lost my last save it set me back but pksm helped me get back the orginal save file all i did was boot it up give me a item i didnt have or something save then exit boom back to where it was orginally saved but yeah am watching ur journey jut finished ur pokemon white playthrough and this video but PKSM can hekp u with ur OT and even nicknamed mons i use it to change nicknames or get rid of dumb ones i remember someone from wonder trade on ultra moon traded me a eevee with the nick name "im garbage" i changed it cuz i love eevee but yeah look into PKSM u can use i before transfering to home after that idk what u can do i only have one switch and im not homebrewing it not risking losing 700 hours of gameplay on swsh and losing my save files on PLA and BDSP games and lets go eevee or getting banned idk how homebrewing works on switch

I’ve also been working on my living dex. Currently in the process of Pokémon Crystal just finished gen 1 last week. But I had no idea how ridiculous it is to move Pokémon 6 at a time, via a mini game where you have to re catch them?!? Dear god I’m not looking forward to this.

I honestly don't know why they had to make transferring Pokemon a "fun" mini-game. It would be fine if the mini-game was optional

I was today years old when i learned that "Beaver" could be considered as an inappropiate word. I doesn't make sense to me that they ban it and especially not considering that Professor Kukui gets to keep his name, even in the swedish dub were "Kuk" means "Dick" :)

Yeah this is why I'm not fussing about with OT names. I will do it a little for starters, but not for every pokemon. I also have Shiro* pokemon since I bought my emerald copy from a guy called Conner. I kept his progress and beat the game. All the Pokemon transferred with that name recieved the Shiro* because Conner is a dirty word in French and has a fitting English cognate. I suspect this is one reason why Beaver is not allowed. It can't even have the bad word with other letters surrounding it

The Trainername thing is so stupid. But at least you were able to transfer them. Imagine they had blocked it from going through. And as someone who ribbon masters let me tell you: Your transfer ordeal was nothing. Try this with a full Gen3 Dex (Hoenn and Kanto) and possibly some mons from the GC games. What you encounter on that route is horribly stupid.

And game freak doesn't care & won't make pokemon gba & ds games, only reasons of their own.
