Thanks. Missed bite first cast, fish second cast, then a frustrating couple of hours. That dog was a nightmare! I had a baited rig on the floor that I had to whip away from him and as I picked up some hooks he went round the other side to eat my chopped meat. Crazy how people walk dogs off the lead like that.
well done Charlie, I love the public spots myself, usually at 5 in the morning! catty and a few selected grade pebbles are handy for troublesome dogs. Or leave some laxative chocolate in a strategic place, so you can have a smug moment wondering when its going to hit, hopefully when dog and owner are back in the car 🤣
The last time i caught a barbel in that swim, it was a late wet evenjng and sheltering unfer my car boot the police came to see what i was up to, having just missed soke dodgy lads in cars selling.... Well .... Anyway, well shot video this, thanks!
