@@LucasF25 Flying types and Pokémon with Levitate are immune to Arena Trap as well as Ghost types as of Generation VI. The moves, Baton Pass, U-turn, Volt Switch and Parting Shot, as well as the Shed Shell can also ignore Arena Trap to switch but not to flee.
@@infernaldarkrai4186 I may be wrong, but as far as I'm aware, Ghost Types cannot be trapped by any move or ability (aside from multi turn moves like Outrage)

So Lunawear was Ghost/Normal so that's why we were shocked when Arena Trap worked on it but not Alolan Marowak. I honestly never knew about Arena Trap and ghost types lmao but mistakes happen. There are like a million micromechanics in this game tho so knowing every single one of them and their effects would be absurd (weather, terrain, abilities, move secondary effects, base stats, psychical/special/sound, I could go on). Bro nate obviously u don’t know Pokémon well cuz in the competitive scene there’s so much micro mechanics and stats u have to remember it’s almost impossible to know literally every single thing.
A cool idea is if you spin the typing wheel twice, then you have to find a pokemon with the primary type of the first spin or the secondary type of the second spin and if you find a mon that has that combo as a dual type then you get a master ball
Next video idea : have a third person randomize your teams before you even make it so lets say you guys both catch 6 pokemon and the third person already decided that lets say you keep the first but give away the second and get his 5th if that makes sense
