Same her Mike, but discovered Lucy and Martha over a year ago and I just can't get enough of their harmonies and so splendid video performances. In late 1969 I sat on a hillside with 3 very good friends drinking coffee and arguing about the meaning of this song.They were the best of us, all dead within a few months, far too young. Of course we figured out the meaning. We were young, almost brand new Marine officers. Wasn't anything we couldn't do. I still miss them. You sing so beautifully, Lucy. Thank you for the memory. You made me cry

It came out in 1967 and is one of the most popular songs of all time selling 10 million copies! I graduated from high school in 1969 so of course this incredible song impacted me!

I was very lucky to be able to see Lucy live at her concert in Manchester. I really wanted to see and hear if this voice was actually as great and wonderful as it sounds on her recordings and covers. Believe me - she is an amazing young lady and blessed with an incredible voice. And it sounds even better live than on any recording. I've been a fan of hers since 2011 and always will be. She will conquer the world.

Dear Lucy❤️ I literally don't know what to say. My lord what an worldclass performance this was. You're making me speechless... Words are getting far too small when trying to describe your outstanding talent and beauty. "A whiter shade of pale" is such a difficult song to perform with so much meaning to it, but you easily make it your own and also far more better. Until now, I considered Judith Durham of The Seekers to have the perfect female singing voice. Crystal clear and beautifully feminine. The crown has been totally melted and recast. Sometimes when I am just searching for songs in the english language, I just heard and forgotten so many... Unfortunately without more original songs of her own or at least written for her and known as hers this most likely won't happen, but purely based on production quality and of course her sensational voice I wholeheartedly agree with you. I've seen some pretty terrible artists receive Grammy's in truth with not nearly half of Lucy's talent.

First there was Evergreen, then Bridge over Trouble Waters and now A Whiter Shade of Pale, all 3 are my favorite classic songs. You have a beautiful powerful voice. couldn't wait to hear what is next. keep up the Beautiful smile at the end of every songs.

Lucy is a true singer, I am amazed with every performance, I feel privileged to enjoy the magnificents of true talent. I was a teenager in the late 60s and early 70s. There are songs from that time that I have always considered to be untouchable. A Whiter Shade of Pale is on that list. For those of us from that time it is an icon song. Listening to Procol Harem playing that song brings back a flood of memories. All that to say I was wrong. Your version is very beautiful and while very much your own it still retains the essence of the original. You continue to amaze us all. And on a side note: I want tell Martha we love her too. She is an amazing talent as well. Love your duets!
