Well done, you’ve invested heavily in your equipment, it’s good to see a fellow West Country man doing well. I always build my bait boxes with the feed tray in one corner with a narrow ledge meaning the squirrels can’t sit with their back to me.

It’s a very good scope for the price! I’m recording it 1080p otherwise higher resolution the recticle does not show on recording but you can record up to 4K As the best scope well I have a pulsar C50 which is awesome build and features and in use is amazing but doesn’t produce the best recordings (still excellent) just got myself a pard DS35 looks good but there’s a new Hikmicro out in January that looks amazing too so best advice is to watch loads of videos and decide what looks best for you and your budget 👍
Hi only because of the recording equipment I use to film through the scope it divides the light with a prism and so makes my view much dimmer otherwise looking directly through the optical scope would be ok mostly Thanks for the comment 👍
Hello Friends, I have one of those hides, and I like mine. With great respect, it can be a little restrictive. You have zip letterbox openings at the front and sides with mesh coverings. I find mine waterproof and great in poor/wet weather. I also have a camo suit, which I'd stand or sit next to a tree and try to blend in with it. The camo suit was £20 from a stall at the 2022 Shooting Show at the NEC, Birmingham. Well worth it. I've found success with that idea, too. Obviously, a camo suit out in the rain is not a great idea, though you'll have no restrictions with full 360° access and great in the better weather. The hide was around £80, either off Ebay or Amazon. It came with a carry bag with ruck sack style carrying straps and some tent pegs to anchor it down in strong breezes. I'd say it was a good buy, does what it's supposed to, and will last if looked after if treated properly. Best wishes.
