I carry out vermin control in the south west of England using rifles and air rifles I'm currently using rimfire rifles and air rifles - CZ457 in 22lr & Lithgow Arms 101 both in 22lr & 17Hmr and FX Impact M3 in .25 and FX Crown MKII in .22 caliber both are FAC rated - high power. I also own a few 12flb air rifles which are our legal power limit in England without FAC (fire arms certificate) Also shotgun 12g over and under
I'm posting videos of my trips and shots etc when i can get video footage to make a video of this It includes Rabbit and Gray Squirrel control also some pigeon and corvid control and i'm always on the lookout for more permissions
If you are in the south west of England and have an area or permission I could shoot at and possibly film get in touch !
also i'm doing reviews and overviews etc of the equipment i use
To contact me direct email me @ lrhvermincontrol@gmail.com
I can confirm that the problem still persists in 2024. In my M3 (.177), which is the latest iteration of the M3 as of May 2024, the magazine is just not working reliably. I am used to my HW100 (which costs 2/3 of the M3), so I may be spoiled? But come on FX, really!?
I subscribed. I like to squirrel hunt. Using FX air rifle too as of late this spring. Keep the vids coming. I use rimfire too. Like the fox maverick I got few months ago. I don’t hunt over feeders. But one can do what they want. Those hades don’t think my maverick like them very much. I do like the design of them for damage they cause.
You talk a lot if you don't have a video to put on air, don't do anything because what matters are the shots and not you talking. It's enough that they are shots at close range, which is a shame.
My videos are all about my experiences and thoughts of my trips out etc so the talking and videos of what I’m doing is just as important as the shots as I express my views etc of what’s happening why I’m there and what I’m doing! This is what MY videos are all about…… enjoy 🙂
Having the LRF out of alignment with the aimpoint is just poor build quality control, it should never have left a factory like that, there's no one checking it. I've seen this on two Pard scopes now, the other one was painting well to the right, so you had to move your aim to use it, then move the aim back again. That's rubbish Pard.
Been having the same problems as you with my Mk 2 Impact for a long time. The amount of ammo I have gone through. Sticking with pellets, cheaper, less air usage and still good clean kills. Glad to see Im not the only one that can't get Zans to group.
Just got one,at 10 yards impact is 6 inches low at 25 yards 15 inches low at 50 yards 25 inches low,Y axis can not reach impact point,so can't zero,,not fit for purpose.
You may be surprised how many Jays you have in the woodland... they all look much alike... I shot a dozen one week off the same feeder, I was sure there was only a pair in the woodland... how wrong I was.. all shot under GL protection of Dunnocks & Song Thrushes
I do all my shooting with the FX impact MK2.177 it's almost 5 years old changed the regulator in may, never cleaned the barrel it's extremely accurate takes the grays out at 50Mt with bisley long range golds also like AA 8.4g and HN 8.4g which seem to be slightly better than the AA 8.4 , better skirt on the HN .Enjoyed your video' 👍
Hi mate I have the original ds35/70 so I’m guessing it’s a mark one not a 2 I’ve tried the mag upgrade and it doesn’t seem to work, do you know if its because it a mark 1 dose it make a difference 🤔👍
I don’t know but i thought the only difference between the mark 1 & 2 was the ir torch ? So I would have thought it would work ? Maybe try again and make sure you have everything set up correctly???
@@LRHVerminControl yes you have a point there, that’s what I thought was just the ir but not sure I did try it a few times and followed instructions! Thanks for replying anyway 👍
