That is a fun fact! I just read that it's one Scot mile which is a bit longer than an English mile, but that measurement hasn't been used since the eighteenth century. Very interesting as I never knew there was a difference!
Enjoyed the vlog very informative and entertaining as well.. can’t imagine the cost of airfare and accommodation during Fringe but I’m sure it’s worth it judging by how much fun you guys had. I’m going the Edinburgh from Dallas in October . Cheers!
So glad you enjoyed! Yes, hotel/airbnb prices were definitely marked up, however, it actually paid off by waiting last minute to book a hotel, bc we found a pretty good deal. And like you said, the experience was well worth it either way! Our only regret was not planning to stay longer. You're going to have a blast in October! Enjoy!
Ha yes, quite hard to miss that building if you're in front of Holyrood Palace. Especially due to its unique design. Definitely stands apart from the rest of the Royal Mile.
Been to a couple of outlander filming locations . Oh and one of my friends is now an actor on outlander now. He just filmed it but wont tell us anymore.
@@AndrewandMegan not sure how big a part he has but he has been in t.v shows in the u.k and in a ridley scott mini series called the terror. And in a english/dutch movie about WW2 called the forgotten battle. He started acting about 10 years ago so just starting out really 🙂
