The weather forecast proved to be something of an understatement! However, it gave me an excuse to film on a station which I've never used before. Must try it again on a better day.
Hi Tim We seen you in Carlisle last Saturday as the Pullman arrived. We just got back to the car before the heavens opened up. We seen the train pass through Harrington station it was sunny but very windy. All the best. Malcolm and Sheila from Workington.
Funny old weather - absolutely glorious in Eskdale yesterday, cold, wet and blustery here today. I really should have gone for that job in New Zealand!
My that was some wild weather! I'm glad I went over to your native county where it was largely sunny although a tad windy. Wigton is surprisingly exposed - isn't every station in Northern Cumbria? All the same the Pullman looked good.
What a rain storm Good thing you were not out in that and very windy. I don't think the passengers would have much of a view this time. It turned out fine for filming at the new location so your gamble payed off.
Thanks Colin. Another saga yesterday - set out for the AGM of La'al Ratty at Ravenglass but, thanks to Northern cancelling three out of four successive trains, didn't make it. Will tell you all next time we meet.
@@schoolshorts Aww that's not good One day when you really wanted to get there with no problems. Just got home from Leeds. A bit of a boo boo by me there.
Not laryngitis but intractable hiccups - which sounds minor but, as the NHS website will confirm, can even be fatal if not controlled. Last time it cost me eight days in hospital with the medics unable to explain it or cure it. Rather arty! - ah well, just goes to show, every cloud has a silver lining. Best wishes.
