I reckon that spot is one of the windiest in the range - nearly been blown over on more than 1 trip walking along that ridge!

Good day my friend down in NZ. Could you please tell me what that brown hard shell jacket is that you are wearing in this video and if you know what the hydrostatic Head waterproof rating is. What sort of waterproof over trousers do you use?

@@rogeeproductions2509 Thanks for that. After further research, I have realised the Firstlite jacket is not fully waterproof so will stick with my Marmot jacket for now that provides 20,000mm HH waterproof rating.

@@Elfin4 Yeah I dont use it as a rain jacket just wind breaker and protective outer layer when I'm bush bashing. I have the www.pointssouth.co.nz/products/first-lite-omen-stormshelter-jacket

@@rogeeproductions2509 Thanks for the additional information. I currently use a Marmot Gortex jacket which provides a Waterproof rating of 20,000mm HH and for under GB£150, I find it exceptional in very wet conditions.
