With a long, cold dry spell on the horizon, and a rapidly dropping river, a last-minute change of plan saw us back on the River Nith, in a continuing effort to track down that big fish before the river levels become unfavourably low.
Will the gamble pay off ?, and will Chapter 3 of ‘A Winter’s Tale’ produce the fish that we know this river is capable of.
The Pike fishing can wait, as for now, we continue the pursuit of that 3lb Grayling.
