Great talk. Thank you so much Julie Bindel. I live in Salinas, California and Woman's Place UK has been a wonderful support for me since they began. I have been blocked from contact with a woman's collective in a neighboring city. As a white woman I worked hard to be asked to visit with these great Latina young women. I was told that "you pierced my soul with your bigotry" by a leader of a LBGTQ group in Sant Cruz. This was due to my response to a FB posted news article about men having babies. I wrote, "Trans-men have babies by virtue of their womanhood, only woman have babies". It makes me sad to see so many young people, including some in my own family, falling under the trans-influence believing that everyone else is out of step. Today I posted about the "sex to gender" change on the Edexcel and how important it is to stop conflating the reality of sex and the concept of gender. What I got in response boggles my mind. A woman who is older and who does not know me responded that we were both taught out-dated meanings of male and female. She said that I need to learn there are 64 genders and sent a link. I deleted his comment from my post as I had asked her not to do this once before. I reminded her that I am a retired computational evolutionary biologist and I do not support biological revisionism.
Thanks for the upload. It is always uplifting to hear Julie again. No-one wants individual trans people to be hurt, but for god sake, the trans movement is bizarre and so a danger to our sanity as a society (especially in this age of Trump, fake news, alt right duplicity, 'woke' 'liberal' virtue signalling). But the movement also genuinely does represent an attack on women at times. And this is really not the time to just take this - what with all of the abortion laws being passed in the USA, and, again, the constant growth of the alt-right with their woman-hating.
Yeph, that what men and non-feminist women - luckily the large majority of people - have said about the feminist movement for years. Kinda sucks to be on the receiving end of the stick, doesn't it....?
@Hello There A few years ago, some random guy tried saying "hello" to me in public. So, I had him arrested for sexual assault. His wife left him and he eventually killed himself in prison. I hope that perverted dirtbag rots in hell! #METOO #FEMINISM #ALLMENARERAPISTS #MENARETRASH
Sorry, babe, but transvestites are higher on the suppression scale - feminazis have opened that can of worms, so I'm afraid it's time to suck & swallow their own medicine...
